Only bad thing is that the Coliseum will be filled with Cowboys fans. I can see it close to 50/50 or even outnumbered.

Like our chances against Dallas much better than playing Chicago.

The Rams had lost to 3 of the NFC playoff teams. With the Bears gone, the Rams need to pray for another Eagles miracle against the Saints, as I feel pretty confident playing the Eagles again at home (where the Rams only lost by a touchdown).

But before that happens the Rams need to get by the Dullest Cowboys, who they didn't play this season, although the Rams did beat them in last season.

The Cowboys barely beat a Seattle team at home, that the Rams had beaten twice this season!

Rams are at home
Rams are rested
Hopefully, Rams are healthy
Rams are favored by Vegas odds makers
Rams should win...

Rams should practice against crowd noise. no i'm not joking. Saturday's game gonna be 60/40 in favor of the cowboys in terms of fan support in the Coliseum.

The Cowboys have lost seven straight road playoff games, tied for the third-longest active streak in the NFL, per

Wouldn't be surprised if they opened up all the available seats for that game. It would not be a problem to sell out that game, if you saw how many Cowboy fans showed up for their preseason game back in 2016. That was probably the highest attended Ram game since they moved back to LA. With the renovations underway, theres no way the current stadium seats close to 90k, but getting 77k sellout would be no problem.

They closest they got to be taken over by the fans of the visiting team this season was their games vs the Packers and Eagles. I think its pretty safe to say the number of Cowboys fans that show up will probably blow past those fanbases.

never understood what caused so many SoCal people latch onto the Cowboys. I found them to be a team that was very easy to hate in the 90s

Rams and Raiders were terrible in the early 90's.....coinciding with the Cowboys success of 3 Super Bowl championships, then both teams leaving resulted in a bunch of people in LA latching onto out of town teams to support.

All this rain is not gonna help, hopefully we have a dry field to play on.

I think it will be OK. Weather.com is showing a 10% chance of rain for tomorrow, 10% for Friday, and 20% for Saturday, with a temperature of about 60 degrees. Should be fine. Bad weather would favor Dallas. Now that I think about it, wasn't it rainy for last year's playoff game at the Coliseum against Atlanta?

I am getting excited. Some thoughts on the eve of the big game. Dallas has been on a weekly routine and could possibly help them. Rams are rested with 2 weeks off will they be rusty. McVay has had two weeks to prepare the offense. That could be bad for Dallas. I'm sure he has a bunch of new plays up his sleeve. Rams have HF advantage. They have lot's of night game experience this year. Dallas offense has not been good on the road. Rams have dominated at home.

Prediction:

Rams 31
Cowboys 20

It's a good thing we had that week off to get Gurley, Whitworth and Joyner some time to heal up.

Quote:
With a week to rest and heal up, the Los Angeles Rams are heading into the divisional round healthy and ready to go. As evidenced by their injury report on Tuesday, there are no injury concerns to speak of.

Todd Gurley participated in an early walk-through and was listed as a limited participant in practice, while Andrew Whitworth (knee) wasn’t even listed on the report. Lamarcus Joyner was a full participant. Those were the only three starters with notable injuries coming into this week, but it’s clear they’re feeling much better than they were in Week 17.

Sean McVay said Gurley is doing better and will be ready for Saturday’s game against the Cowboys. The same goes for Whitworth, whom McVay said is “looking like a rookie.”

I think CJ Anderson is going to get his fair share of plays in this game. The way he played the last couple games of the season he and Gurley are going to be a potent 1-2 punch.

Hey now, the Raiders weren't that terrible in the early 90s.

They made the AFC championship in 90 and the playoffs in 92 and 93. And remember there was Bo Jackson at the very beginning of the 90s.

The Raiders really only didn't go south until their last year in LA (94).

The Cowboys were that team..they had all the stars (Aikman, Smith, Irvin, Deion) and they were ALWAYS on the Fox game of the week and John Madden called most of their games. It's the same as many people were Bulls fans during the Jordan/Pippen era.

C'mon Rams beat the Cowboys today, we paid our dues against the Falcons last year, time for us to get a playoff win.

Under is a solid bet, the Cowboy defense is for real. A 17-14 game wouldn’t surprise me.

If that slows down Ezeikil then that's fine with me..

Cowboys home field is indoors (if I recall correctly) and 5 of their 6 losses have come on the road, so Rams gotta punch them in the mouth early and set the tone for a Cowboys LOSS!

I wonder what would be worse for the Rams and Goff, the Coliseum in the rain or the New Orleans Dome.
