There is a youth appreciation thread so I thought I would make veterans appreciation thread. I like this group. A perfect balance to the young guys. A lot of experience and good leadership. No egos and accepting there roles. Good team players. They all have been great in there own ways. I put KCP in here because he gets no love in the youth group. He is in his 6th season so I put him here. There is a certain amount of comfort knowing these guys are on the team. Good job by the FO.

The good thing about the vets is that when someone doesn’t play or has a off game another player steps up, that’s how you install a identity.

I know but he is in his 6th season and nobody lists him as the young core.

People have arbitrary cutoffs about this sort of terminology. A lot of people have decided 26 is the cutoff for being young, and he turns 26 next month.

But really, there isn't a reason why someone can't be both a veteran and part of the young core. It's just semantics.

6 years in the league should be considered a vet.

Kudos to the vets. We would be mediocre without them.

Shout out to Lance for leading the team in 3pt %. It’s time we called some plays for our long range assassin.

What's baffling to me is that some people have hope for Lance and Beasley who are putting up some career efficiency numbers at 28 and 30... but they think Lonzo and Ingram are finished at 21.

We need LeBron back. If I'm not mistaken, if we lose tonight, we drop out of the top 8 (out of the playoff seeding). That's a scary concept considering how tough the West is.

Yeah cause that's practically our entire team minus four guys, obviously someone is gonna step up

He doesn't even attempt that many. He is no assassin

I wouldn't factor in age at all. Number of years in the league should be the only determinant. Kuz and Hart are simply old for 2nd year players (not taking anything away from them).
