I thought Glen Rice was the best comparison for Kuzma with other similarities with Cliff Robinson, Glenn Robinson, Antwan Jamison, Rashard Lewis, etc. but Kuzma is on another level when it comes to fluidity with his speed and quickness. He moves like a 6'9'' Klay Thompson out there and has a plethora of inside and outside moves, can spot up, drive, post up, get out in transition, handle the ball, chase guards and wing players through screens on defense etc. in a PF/SF body. I really can't come up with any other comparisons at this point for Kuzma. Maybe Tobias Harris? Harris has more of a controlled and patient offensive game and seems to let the game come to him, while Kuzma makes up his mind really quick, almost instantly when he gets the ball and always puts pressure on the defense, similar a bit to Kobe, but Kobe is obviously not a fair or real comparison to make for Kuz. At this point I can't find a real comparison for Kuzma, which tells you how special his game is.

Thought he’s have a big game. Confidence after the last one, up against his buddy spida, and back in Utah.

I'd say the best comparison is Rashard Lewis. They are both athletic tweeners, with both an inside and outside game, indifferent defenders and weak rebounders. Kuz is a better passer, Lewis a better shooter.

Jazz are a top 5 defense.

That being said, this isn't on Kuz. The offensive gameplanning is horrendous and that makes Kuz easy to neutralize. They need to work inside out.

This kuzma and Ingram nuthugging is getting ridiculous. It’s okay to critique them when they’re both playing terrible guys

This exactly. Talent wins out sometime, but against an organized defense, our lack of system is magnified.

I thought Villanova recruited smart players....

Josh Hart might be the dumbest player I've seen wear a Laker uniform in a while.

Alright so the last game looks like he just caught fire. Which fits into the 'streaky' label he gets.

If this keeps up he'll be known as a guy that can shoot you both in, and out of games.

Still another quarter to go, so we'll see if he catches fire.

The problem is, he sucks as a defender and is a bad A:TO ratio, so if he isn't making his shots he isn't helping much.

Kuzma is not far behind with his low IQ chucking, dude is allergic to passing on a fast break

Just realize that I posted in the wrong thread but I agree.

Kuz tries to take people off the dribble and it rarely goes well.

Kuz is Clarkson 2.0. He's just more likeable. People forget Clarkson was a scoring machine too but was absolutely detrimental when he couldn't score. I wonder who that reminds me of.

Clarkson is more likeable in my opinion and a true player. Kuzma is probably the corniest oldest young core player I’ve ever seen

Clarkson lost me when he tried to be an off brand Swaggy P. Clarkson has had a better season than Kuz this year. People on this board get offended when you compare the two. Clarkson can at least pass and create for himself. It's not a coincidence Kuz's best game happened with 0 iso players and was a product of creation from other players.

This thread is so cancerous, where were you two when Kuz scored 41?
You two are basically Donald Trump 2.0, is it good to say that when you insult someone while trying to say you're not insulting someone?

Clarkson scored 35 before.

Why is it a bad thing that he's compared to Clarkson?

Clarkson isn't a bad player.

Because Clarkson is a (bleep) defender/rebounder/passer and is doing nothing to help the team if he’s not scoring efficiently? Kuz makes looks an awful lot like that type of player atm tbh. Literally needs forcefed to have an efficient game scoring. The irony is that before the game he talked about how his defense and playmaking has improved so much🙄. Then he goes into Kuzma mode several times on the break and tries doing it alone even though he has someone running with him.
