His shooting numbers have improved throughout the season, so that currently doesn't seem to be the case. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

His 3 ball didn't.
It's been streaky.
Started well. Dipped and coming back up.
His 2 ball has improved I believe. |

This kid is so unique, he's so creative but has the worst touch. Hes either going to put it together here or somewhere else though. The game comes to him so easily on D. are the easy misses a mental thing? |

Need rondo back to backup Lonzo.
BI, Lance, KCP, Hart just ain't it for that role. |

Yea if he was an average scorer he’d already be an all star. An offseason will work wonders. |

I wished he just crammed that one.
We were making a nice comeback at that point. Would have cut the lead to 9. |

I pray the scoring comes along. He already has the passing, athleticism, defense and IQ |

Zo did a lot of solid things tonight like hustling and defense but my goodness we need more than 7pts from our 2nd overall pick. |

Where did you get -15 for Ingram? NBA.com and ESPN both says -19 |

That was a mixed bag from Ball. Some of the scoring plays were cringeworthy. At times, he was over-aggressive on defense, which got him in foul trouble. Frankly, I'm surprised this hasn't happened more often. Otherwise, he played a pretty good game, with some nice passes and overall solid defense. It didn't look like he was matched up against Mitchell that much for some reason. |

How can a 2nd year old player come up so flat with no energy every other game is mystery to me

He needs to hang out with Kyrie for an offseason tbh. Lonzo does alot of good things no doubt but he might be the worst finishing guard in the entire league. He has no touch at all around the basket. At least he's trying to be aggressive but he can't finish to save his life. Someone needs to show him how to use the glass and would be nice if he could develop a floater or some other dependable shot when he gets into the paint. Too many times he gets a few feet from the basket and instead of finishing ends up passing the ball. |

This. And why do so many first and second year players make an immediate impact and we look for the smallest of things as improvement when this guy sleep walks through every game? |

Agreed. His problems are skill based. |

Lonzo didn't have a bad game but I am not a fan when people use the +/- stat since it could be misleading.
In this case, Luke left Zo in garbage time when the game is clearly decided with Utah's end of bench players in the game. KCP and Mo made a couple of buckets in isolations and cut the lead. Zo was around -8 the whole night. He was just in the game at the right time where he didn't do much. |

Perhaps I'm wrong (maybe it was the 4th), but I recall checking his +/- during that mini run in the 3rd and it around 0-1. Anyway, I thought impact was noticeable, especially after he checked out. Dave Pasche commented on it too on the ESPN feed.

IIRC, he was around 0 - 1 during his shift in the third when they made a little run. I thought impact was noticeable, especially when he checked out. Dave Pasche commented on it too on the ESPN feed. |
Yeah Zo had a great 3rd quarter yday but didn't have the same impact in the 4th. If he didn't get into foul trouble, this could've been a different game. |

Lonzo did with his aggression in the 3rd and the fight he showed what people have been asking for.
Never questioned his engagement last night. That foul trouble hurt us all though, especially with no Rondo. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

He was flat before the fouls but I guess it's ok to put it on the fouls |

He's a terrible finisher. If he isn't hitting his stand still jumpers, then it's 4v5 on offense |
