Thanks DB!

I don’t watch all of the games and will pass on this one, but I always read your recaps.

No Lebron/no Rondo is understandable.

Poor effort is unforgivable.

Making the same bonehead errors halfway through the season is inexcusable.

It's not all on the coaches - but the coach has to go.

Thanks DB, I really appreciate your recaps!

The Lakers seem to be in no-man's land. If they are in win-now mode, they need to make a coaching change and/or a trade to better this year's team. If they are in develop-the-youth mode, then it's also disappointing because the youth don't seem to be developing. Thus, a coaching change would be needed also. It's hard to be patient when we are failing with either scenario.

DB, my sympathies brother. It was painful to watch and I am sure more painful to write up.

The Lakers have to do something. Either a coaching change, a lineup change or a trade.

Right now I am for the lineup change. Start Zu and Beasley and send McGee and Hart to the bench. McGee looks listless out there and Hart is in a shooting slump since becoming a starter.

I do not do a trade because we desperately need another star free agent signing this summer. As constructed, this team is .500 at best. Still hoping for Kuz, Zo and BI to break out but not holding my breath.

If we lose to the Bulls the flood gates will open and everyone will be screaming for Luke's head. And deservedly so. We need a motivator who will get in these guys grills and demand more. Not sure who that is but that is what we need.

Unfortunately, 3,500 of them from me tonight for this one.

Appreciate it when you guys read these on night like this.

Thanks for the hard work. Even on horrible nights like this, reading your breakdown of the game is a bright spot.

Agree with this whole post thread. I have no words. None. But your words, DB, are greatly appreciated.

Yes. I do. Fifteen. Most definitely yes. The team is on pace for 43 wins.

The first game of the season I missed. And I won't bother watching the replay after reading this thread.

I mean, sure, it's the NBA, even the really bad teams are professionals and teams on a 12-game losing streak are bound to beat someone eventually. But did it really have to be us, right?

Thank you, DB, your write up is going to be the only thing I take away from this game.

Onto the next.

The frustrating thing was that we would put it together and cut the lead to 2-3 points then I would go out to the grill and when I returned it was back up to 8-10.

this one was certainly frustrating. there's no excuse to lose to a Kevin Love-less cavs team.

if Luke was screaming his head off like "you guys are going to lose to the F-ing CAVS... that's okay with you???"

and that's just one half of the equation... the other is "Luke, DO SOMETHING... draw up some plays, make adjustments... COACH!!!"

heck, let Rondo yell at them. maybe he already has. who knows...

Thanks, DB. I do not post much anymore but I always read your insightful summaries. Much appreciated.

I empathize with our frustration at Luke but I need to point out that FT shooting would have won us several games. To me, FT shooting is on the players. How, perhaps, Luke should be screaming at them to work more on their FT shooting but, if it does not improve. Thats on the players.

Hopefully, a line up change will help.
