He needs to be on the court when the other four players struggle to score.

Zubac needs more playing time. Especially when team's play zone against us.

Shooting over the zone isn't going to work, so put him out there, work the ball through the middle and get easy baskets.

Zubac is the kind of player that can help a team like the Lakers when Luke gets into his "I don't know what offense is, do whatever" modes.

Also wish we could see more pick and roll with him as he's VERY effective at that.

But it is what it is. If San Antonio had Zo and Zubac Lakers fans would clamor for the both of them.

Luke just isn't a coach that knows how to maximize people or stick to what works, and his teams win in spite of him the majority of the time.

Agreed. I’m thinking Bi could be next Leonard if he was with Spurs. In Lakers, players are asked to improve their weaknesses instead of playing their strength. If it’s the case, we have to sign more veterans than tanking for young players

The Spurs would have developed BI by asking him to take the next step in his development by continuing to work on his off ball spot up shooting as well as off ball movement and cuts to the basket instead of Popovich randomly telling the media after he scored 8 points a game the previous season "If he doesn't score 20 this year I'm gonna be disappointed." and forgoing the other 2/4ths of his development that was supposed to take place.

Just imagining what Popovich could do with a 1-5 lineup of

Lonzo Ball
D'Angelo Russell
Brandon Ingram
Julius Randle
Ivica Zubac

would have been quite something to see. But alas. We don't got that kind of coach.

Zubac needs a P&R partner that can shoot. KCP and Hart can shoot but not really run P&R. Ball can P&R but they'll just go under the pick and dare him to shoot.

BI can try to turn the corner even though they go under the pick.....

Is Lance really our best P&R option right now???? Maybe it's Svi

How much is Zu's cap hold and how would it affect the cap space?

The team has three traditional centers and I doubt all three will return. If traditional centers are so out of fashion and established ones like McGee or Chandler could be available for the minimum, I wonder how much it will take to sign Zu.

I mentioned this in my writeup, but I've been pretty impressed with consistency lately. He's still so young, but really starting to figure out how continually bring some impact to every game. That's huge. Keep it up, Zu.

If McGee leaves for more money, I hope we can have Zubac back next season.

He should work on shooting 3s next offseason. He has a nice touch and showed a promising mid range in his first season: 47-100 from 5ft to 19ft.

There's no reason he can't be a decent 3pt shooter (35% or something).

Was there a reason Tyson didn't play today? Was he just a DNP because Zu played well?

Zubac has been playing pretty well considering he's still not getting many minutes.

Zubac continues to play well and Luke continues to take him for granted and keeping his role and minutes inconsistent. We've seen this movie before.

He is currently looking like the best Center on the team, would be nice to see him higher on the depth chart

WOuldnt at all Ben surprised to see him get his chance as starting C. With Luke planning a starting lineup shuffle,... I expect Hart and McGee to say goodbye for a bit.

Zubac needs to be spoon fed and when going up legit centers gets manhandeled.
