We will have his early bird rights this summer, I still think there is a good chance we re-sign him. Atleast we should try, not sure why so many here underrated him.

KCP has been playing well and at this point should be starting as long as LBJ is sidelined.
We could really use his scoring, free throws and hustle to spark the team right out the gate.

Apparently the only way to get Luke to start someone playing halfway decent is to injure every other possible option.

Forcing Luke to do something is almost as good as him figuring it out on his own. Good boy Luke! Now roll over! Play dead!

people dont understand some players just need more time to get in a rhythm. The more consistent time he gets, the better he will look. remember he is young too.

As someone else pointed out, he's having a career season in TS%, and now well above the league average in 3-pt %. If there's an argument to bench Zo late in games when we're at full strength it should be for him, not the overrated Rondo.

KCP will score at least 20 points tonight and we will need every one of them.

And after. I'll throw in the top phrase on LG:

Dude hired his own shooting coach since you know, we don't have one.

He had a super slow start on one of the most over hauled rosters in the league. Dude has that mettle we will need plenty of in the playoffs. Trade talks, a horrible start to the season, he has bounced back well. If you look through my posts you would see I always supported him even when fans wanted to trade him 4-5 games into the season.

He’s been a solid contributor so far. I get why his agent likely wants him moved to a team where he will get starters minutes, but he’s filling a needed role so far with the team.

I liked seeing him take a leadership role tonight, taking the lead in the in game huddles and stuff. He deserves more minutes than Hart at this point in the season

Lebron came here needing a new wingman to play the Robin role. KCP, given his age, contract $, and needing to shine in his contact year, should be that 16-20 ppg , plus savvy wingman. I even thought it was possible KCP could rise to the occasion. Clearly he hasn't, he has provided some bench spark, but really he plays at maybe the Clarkson level, that's about it.

are the Lakers still shopping KCP? It would be nice to get a 1st rounder out of him instead of him just walking away for nothing.

Cant wait to see this garbage out. Ultimate crap. I am just waiting to see someone telling he is good defender. Ask Sexton if he is good defender. Not worth a dollar.

He decided not to play D when he gave up that uncontested layup at the end of the game. He followed that up by deciding to go full force hero ball and threw up a rim bender.

KCP played solid defense on Lavine and had a nice all-around game. +14

He scored 17 points but his biggest contribution was from the FT line (8-10) as the team, overall, shot a dismal 67.6%.

Scared me w/ the 2 misses down the stretch.
But great FT shooting overall. Solid play.

you do realize kcp wasnt even playing with bron in the first part of the season. it was him and the bench mob with rondo and/or lance.
only recently has he and rondo started to develop good chemistry.

KCP might not be a sexy enough name for our FO but he is one of our better players. Not starting him all season is idiotic.

He's probably around a MLE player at best. Obviously there were other considerations involved in giving him a 18m and 12m deal.
