Our so called bust Ingram scored 26 and 21 against Philly last year.

Every game matters at this point. I predicted a 4th seed prior to the season. I obviously didn't factor in LBJ missing 16 or more games.

More victim posting and lies. Nobody has ever called Ingram a bust. Perhaps a disappointment. Just exposing yourself further. I'm done now.

You've been done for almost 300 posts now.

But sure... calling a #2 pick a borderline starter isn't calling them a bust.

We had Randle last season to guard him, Simmons has 50 pounds on Ingram easily.

I'm worried now that they added Butler and we don't have Lonzo.

If it was Simmons and Embiid only I think we'd be okay.

My point was only that Simmons wasn't that hard for us to deal with.

With our full team we'd beat them.

Randle was guarding Embiid most of the time IIRC

There are 150 starters. Ingram's numbers are in the fifties and sixties.

For him to be a borderline starters they would have to be the hundred and fifties.

You can call him a disappointment.

I'm disappointed in his progress this year... but he's 90 players shy of being a borderline starter right now.

What numbers?

In RPM he's 76th out of 90 SF's, FWIW. That doesn't even include Lance who rates higher.

And Marcus Smart is 5th among PGs.

If that is your metric of preference... be my guest.

I prefer old fashioned points in this instance, crude though it may be.

Idk what numbers you’re talking about and I don’t believe my statement needs to be supported by some numbers. He’s a borderline starter, like it or not.

I already explained his eFG the last two years was higher than Lamarcus Aldridge's career average... it's higher than Demar DeRozan's for all but one year.

But sure... RPM over points and eFG...

Where did I mention any of those things as a basis for my opinion? I’m allowed to have an opinion based off watching the game. I’m sorry it angers you but I believe if you objectively watch him, it’s pretty clear he’s a borderline starter right now. Either way, that’s not calling him a bust at all.

I'm not angry with you at all.

I think he's a mid level starter who will continue to improve

You think he's a borderline starter.

I have no problem with you because I don't think you are a troll.

We just disagree.

Let me ask you... do you rank Ingram around 140 to 160 of all NBA players?

Because for me... that's a borderline starter if there are 150 starters.

Even 100th isn't close to the borderline.

Just curious.

Wow. Ugly game thread so far. 5th post in we get an early start on player bashing, and by page 2 this is an argument thread. The game is several hours away and the score still holding at 0 - 0.

I don’t have rankings for that many NBA teams. He’s a borderline starter on a Lakers team with a below average roster that LeBron has propped up. He’s closer to a good bench player than average starter.
