If this is our lineup

McGee/Chandler
LBJ/Muscala/Wagner
Kuzma/Bullock
Ingram/KCP/Hart
Rondo/Stephenson/Ball (Injured)/Bonga

Looking at that we should probably aim for a big
Kanter and LBJ have a thing
Otherwise I’d suggest him
Great replacement for Zubac
And a scoring/rebounding machine

Kanter has defensive issues but he’s a great off the bench weapon

Lebron has been rivals with Lance, Rondo, and Chandler. Kanter has never faced Lebron in any meaningful games. He’ll be fine as a Laker and Lebron would have already signed off on it.

Teodosic or Lin would be my choices at this point since it appears Ellington is gone

I wouldn't go after a C, we need some depth at PG

I like both Rondo and Ball, but they miss a lot of games

Lin is to injury prone for my liking.

I think Lin would be fine if he was comfortable with the playing time.
(He's shot close to 60% TS this season)... but I think he wants more time so I doubt he'd want to come here unless we get a hometown discount.

Again people saying he's injury prone but number of 70 game plus seasons for AD... 2

Lin has 4 seasons over 70 games and is headed for a fifth.

Amazing how people notice injuries if they don't care for a player... but ignore them if they do.

And I do think Lin seems fragile... but what does that make AD who has less 70 game seasons than Lin or Kyrie?

At any rate one player would be a backup point guard... the other would be the centerpiece of our future franchise... so in one case injuries are much more relevant than the other imo.

Of the positions I'd like to see fortified, either C or PG.

Of the players I've heard mentioned lately, I'd like to see us pick up either Kanter or Morris.

I'd be OK with Lin or Ellington as well.

I agree. In the case of Morris a hard nose center, he has been injured ( a
shame) but Kanter is good for 12-15 points while hitting his FT's.

At PG, Lin is the most skilled but also injury prone, which makes me
hesitant. He may be fine mind you, but we leave that to the FO.

But your right, the answer is within the guys you mention.

unrelated to us....but I wish the Hawks would waive Vince Carter and the Warriors would sign him. Give him a great chance at getting that ring.

my take was Abrines is not looking to play this season....Zach Randolph and Kanter are pretty much unplayable in the playoffs.

I am a big fan of Vince....everything that I know about him and his family points to the guy being one of the truly good guys in the NBA.

I didn't get to watch today's game... but from watching the highlights... dang, Philly is stacked. They overpowered us despite a great scoring effort from Kuz. Makes me wonder if we're better off bringing in a big like Robin Lopez or Kanter simply to have another body that can bang against the Embiids, Bobans, etc of the league? I can't see any PG brought in getting many minutes with Ball, Bron, Rondo.

I'm speculating since Morris is cleared to play and Lakers said they have interest in signing him after he was waived.

I’m assuming Muscala will be waived unless it’s gonna be Chandler being the 1 getting waived.
