Unless you know someone named beets, there is no way that sentence should ever be spoken.

Got cold. Why does it always coincide with weekends? Should use corporate time to be ill, personal time should be for fun.

No wine this weekend, but did have some mead. Eh, I prefer beer and wine.

Coinciding national independence day and my condition led to me settling for some traditional medicine. Vodka weekend. Cures everything.

Saturday I felt like getting a cheeseburger from Carls Jr. No ration behind it. That's just what I wanted. The one in Santa Monica is gone.

Sunday I just wanted my favorite hangover cure. A giant plate of chili fries from Big Tomy's on Sawtelle. It's gone.

Closest I've come is watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit while stoned.

Grünkohl-Kasseler-Auflauf for lunch. Whatever that means.

Tasted good, although the cook had let it get burned a bit too much.

There is so much I can forgive a hotel if they only serve good bacon and eggs.

You'd think bacon and eggs would be a hard thing to (bleep) up, although I found a waffle house once on a marathon road trip that did a pretty good job of it.

That's actually quite impressive.

It takes more effort to screw up bacon and eggs than it takes to at least make them tolerable.

The whole thing was disgusting. After driving 15 hours straight all I wanted was some (bleep) bacon, eggs, and coffee. Considering you see Waffle Houses like every 5 miles when you're traveling the interstates and not being exactly flush with funds, I finally decided to stop at one. Let me tell you; the coffee tasted like dishwater, the bacon might as well have been made out of cardboard, in fact the eggs might have been reconstituted from dry wall paste. Now you might say, "Hey, it's a Waffle House. You should have gotten the waffles." Well let me tell you, my kids ordered waffles and they would have been better off with bacon and eggs. I won't even go into the service and the fact that the waitress looked like she had a second job as a meth whore. Never in my life would I have imagined that compared to this place, Denny's seemed like (bleep) Disneyland.

Ditched work on Wednesday to take my kids to Disneyland on for my daughter’s birthday. Didn’t get any bacon and eggs, though.

OK, I guess it is my turn .... to pull this back to the page 1.

Had a hamburger in Hamburg airport. A place called Bettie's. The Burger was OK, but the appearance of the staff made it perfectly clear this is the last place where they want to be. Seems like a recurring theme with staff serving burgers.

then the next day have a frankfurter at frankfurt airport and eat some black forest ham in the black forest and then drive to brunswick to eat some brunswick stew

Do you think a sprinkle of meth would've improved the food or not? I wonder how your reaction would've changed in this hypo.

Then go to Bologna, Italy and have a baloney sang.

Virginia has hams named after Virginia, but they're from Virginia.
