Man we talk about Lonzos shooting and Ingram is at .275 on threes

the problem is that the 3 is vast majority of Lonzo's offensive game....it is a very small part of Ingrams

Right but it has a great effect on the team dynamic. He needs to shoot and make more, so does Lonzo

I don't know man...I love Ingram, but I am not close to trusting that 3 point shot.....I worry more volume is going to lead to many more 1 of 6 nights than 3 or 4 of 6 nights....at least this season.

It’s his mechanics. I promise he’ll never be a good shooter with that form.

Except oddly he's shooting better than your idol Kobe Bryant from the field.

before the Achilles.....Kobe wins this game before the game even starts

Kobe's a better player than Ingram... but LKA mentioned his shooting... and mediocre though Ingram's shooting has been... it's been better than Kobe this season.

And still will never be half the player that Kobe was ..

You were talking about his shooting.

Lol SM.. So because Ingram’s efg% is slightly higher than Kobe’s, I’m sure this also means Ingram has a chance to become the best scorer in the NBA while also being arguably the best defender and the best clutch performer and a 5 time champion and 2 time olympic gold medalist and 18 time allstar .. cmon fam quit with the nonsense. Taking stan to a new level.

No you've said BI is a bad shooter and Kobe is great. Just presenting you with the facts that if BI is an inconsistent shooter... then so was Kobe.

Ingram is a bad shooter. Good shooters don’t shoot below 70% from the freethrow line.

Shaq shot better too that doesn't make him a better shooter.

Ingram shoots a lot of midrange shots... He has a long way to go before I'd be satisfied with it... but he's 21 and trending upwards.

I only said it because LKA was saying how Kobe is one of his favorite players and Ingram's eFG% this season is higher than Kobe's career eFG% by 2%.

Kobe was also regularly double teamed, triple teamed and hand checked...

I should have read thread more carefully...my response was actually in comparison to Lebron....not Ingram.

I had no beef with what you were saying adkindo.

I'm simply trying to play devil's advocate to the posters like LKA/Laslow who trash Ingram no matter what he does.

His careless turnovers irritated me as much as anyone... but he was far from the weakest link tonight.

Stockton, Reggie, Nash all managed a high eFG% during Kobe's era. Kobe's eFG wasn't even high when he played with Shaq.

He was a great player but not the most efficient shooter.

Well, he should be a good shooter by next season then according to his recent trend.

Why not try rooting for one of your players to succeed instead of against them for a change?

Lol @ comparing pure shooters with no rings to a guy who was better than them at everything on the court. Who btw could still bury you with 12 3s in a single game, more than any of their highs.

Am I a Brandon Ingram hater or are you a super stan? Attempting to knock arguably the most heralded Laker of all time to defend a 3rd year player seems a bit extreme to me ..

We were talking only about shooting.

I was unhappy with Ingram's careless ballhandling... but he also got some BS calls that forced him off early.

The kid is growing... a few weeks ago, his detractors claimed he'd never score 20 with regularity... now, they've moved the goalposts again.

Yes, he's far from Kobe's overall ability... but he's shooting better than Kobe and improving with each game.

So complain about his bad judgment or bad handles if you want to gripe about something.

Magic is my favorite player. West after him.

Ingram is only a kid with good potential to me.

But I don't like bullies and you are the virtual equivalent of a bully imo.

And Your posts are garbage to me. Lakers shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers and missed freethrows but in your eyes, the ref lost them the game 😂

Rainbow by Kacey Musgraves is a great song to summarize the state of the Lakers right now. Here’s an excerpt.

“The struggle of staying above, the rising water line
(West playoff race)
Well the sky is finally open,
the rain and wind stopped blowin' (AD not playing, NOP most likely a lottery bound team, they played last night, Lakers didn’t, we (LAL) came off a win against a great West team, the Rockets, yet the Lakers lost tonight)
But you're stuck out in the same old storm again”
(Lakers are 🗑 again, no defense, inconsistent FT shooting, rotation issues, turnovers, and the like, everything in general was inconsistent)

Anyone who agrees with me?

I’m wit u Joe. It has grown old too! It’s players but it’s coaching too. Never seen a team so careless with the ball. Even Lebron and Rondo turn it over a lot. Luke is clueless and the new regime will break all ties with him after this season. Also unfortunately we have a very good Lebron but it is post prime Lebron.

His 1 million caphold was just too much for the FO to manage.
