Damn this sucks hard. BI was my favourite out of the entire young core and I had no doubt he is gonna be a star if this doesn't end up affecting his career. Get well soon young drip klng .

On the bright side, we don't need to worry about him getting traded to the Pelicans in the offseason now.

It must be a bad sign that the Lakers haven’t given us a update.

They don't know yet, there are a lot of variables at work.

Best case scenario - his clot is one and done the way mine has been. There is a lot to be concerned about because it's a serious condition that requires the right course of treatment HOWEVER there's also no point in panicking because it could ultimately all be OK (I mentioned earlier in the thread that my treatment ended almost 5 years ago and I've not had an issue since)

And for all the chatter I noticed in the posts above mine: They probably won't really know for sure for sure until a few months from now when they see how he responds to the blood thinning treatment. So yall will likely just have to deal with the fact that we are in limbo for a while on this one.

Rest up and get well Kingram. You gave it your all on the court this year and thats all we can ask. You proved a lot of doubters wrong this year. We need all of you next year.

I'm not going to lie, I am legit shattered by this news. It's clear the Lakers are tanking so I don't give a crap about the results right now, but this is serious and as an Ingram stan it's a punch in the gut.

It sure is. Was expecting him to finish out the season strong and become a legit star next season. I hope this news is not as serious as it sounds.

There's a good chance he undergoes the necessary treatment, comes back next season, and never has another issue.

I think he'll be fine.

Man this season hurts and sucks. But BI facing this health threat is just horrific, especially when his payday is coming soon too. Get better young man.
