Agreed. If Brown and Lue could win with Lebron, any coach should be able to do it. That makes Luke arguably one of the worst coaches in NBA history. Hence, the Lakers could only get better with a new HC.

lol at this bad logic. when with lebron and who else?

which coach has WON with lebron with a bunch of HURT kids and hurt vets? Non. come on guys, we have to do better than this. if you want a new coach fine. but lets stop with the over reacting. Tye Lue would've won the same amt of games as luke did this year if he was the lakers head coach this year and he dealt with these exact injuries.

we dont have kevin love to help out.

Brown and Lue won with LeBron in the Eastern Conference and LeBron had a formidable team each time. Needless to say, although the Lakers made it to the playoffs with Brown, he really couldn't get the job done and so he got moved along.

IMO the clear cut candidate for Luke's job is Mark Jackson and there's not a better more suitable coach for the job. He should get a ton of credit and a ring (2) for the Warriors success. They moved him for no reason and Steve Kerr gets all the glory for coaching a "Superstar" team, but when they were mediocre and making it to the playoffs, all of that was Mark Jackson!

Same can be said for Rivers with the Clippers, these guys are real coaches and know how to win games!

My guess is it will be someone like Mark Jackson or Monty Williams.

The one thing I would do is run whoever they want by LeBron first to make sure he is completely on board....I have the feeling he isn't behind Luke, we need him behind the next guy for sure.

That's good stuff from a former NBA coaching staffer (with Wizards, Hawks and Raptors). Shows multiple plays with a description of the what the Lakers did and what they *should have* done.

Highlights problems with defensive responsibility, switching, lack of communication on defense, closeouts, spacing. And yes it does touch on the Lakers lack of ideal roster construction.

Also talks about what is on Lebron and what is not.

Most of it seems to come down to players not doing what they are supposed to do - either because they don't know or they are being lazy.

Just watched the first part 1 of 3 so far.

You can't tell me the Cavs have a better supporting cast than the Lakers. Zubac is better than Love. Injury is part of the game and we didn't have that many injuries. Right now, the only guy injured is Lonzo so why aren't we winning?
