They already did an Andre Ingram "Wag the Dog" strategy last season. Will it work again? Wag the Dog 2?

They should just pretend that the whole thing never happened. If reporters bring up Andre Ingram's stats from last season, Jeanie can just call it "fake news" and steamroll forward.

I'm waiting for the Andre Ingram movie produced by Hollywood's best. It will coincidentally coincide with the last 15 games of the season and we will all forget about this horrific season.

He has become the Lakers' ultimate white flag.

Season over? Send in the Andre Ingram.

Again... for those of you in favor of the AD/LBJ plus "ringchasers" plan

Remember this signing period where we either didn't or couldn't sign players like Melo/Morris/Lin/Kanter/Pau... and settled for Andre.

Unless you believe Andre was our endgame... lol

It's a bit different though.

By the 3/1 deadline, Lakers really appeared to be spiraling away from a playoff berth. So someone like Kanter, it makes more sense to join a team firmly in the playoffs.

If it's the offseason, you're talking about possibly 28m in cap space to offer to several FAs.

I agree we have lost a lot of mojo, but it's an apples/pears comparison.

I fully concede AD plus LBJ attracts way more than LBJ by himself.

But still... I find it hard to believe we will be beating them away with the proverbial stick.

Imagine being able to offer 4 7m/year deals for role players for example. 3/D guys all around.
