The Lakers say that Lonzo Ball will be re-evaluated in two weeks. I think you should take that with a grain of salt.

Basically I mean aren’t there only four weeks left in the season? I wonder why they’re so reticent to just call it a day and Move On. |

It's not the medical staff, it's the PR people. |

Magic's first order of business was getting rid of John Black IIRC. _________________ KOBE |

FOR THE FOLKS PERPETUALLY RAGGING ON JOSH HART
Per Goon
Josh Hart on his knee tendinitis: "Nothing has really helped. It’s something that the damage to the tendinitis and to the tendon is something I have to deal with at the end of the season. So, right now, it’s just trying to manage the pain and go from there."
https://twitter.com/kylegoon/status/1104611677847343105?s=21
Hart on if he would shut it down this year: "I don’t want to give up on this team. I want to play every game because I know during the summer I won’t be able to play the game for a while. So I’m going to play as hard as I can for however long I can."

JOSH - TYSON - LANCE - KUZ
Well at least Twitter still works
Per Goon
Josh Hart (knee tendinitis) is QUESTIONABLE tomorrow against the Raptors.
Lance Stephenson (toe sprain) and Tyson Chandler (neck stiffness) haven't played in over a week, and they're both listed as QUESTIONABLE.
Kyle Kuzma is off the injury report.

No idea. Look at this tweet from LFR (video at link) - Josh is in obvious pain. They need to just shut him down.

EVEN THOUGH THE LAKERS STILL HAVE NOT SAID THIS ON THEIR TWITTER - LONZO IS IN FACT SHUT DOWN
Comical. Anyway here is what Lonzo himself told Trudell:
* @ZO2_ joined us on the @SpectrumSN pregame show. He said he still can’t run or jump on the ankle: “Unfortunately, I’m (shut down) for the rest of the year, trying to get as healthy as possible as fast as possible.” Very important he has a healthy offseason to get better.

Welp
According to Luke right now in the post-game Josh is playing because
- he wants to compete
- there is no risk of further damage. If that changes they'll adjust.
(call me skeptical on that one)
- he needs to be out there and the team needs him out there
So there we have it... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

THERE’S NO I IN TEAM BUT THERE IS AN I IN INJURIES
Per Trudell
Reggie Bullock is available to play tonight in Detroit, while Lance Stephenson and Josh Hart join LeBron, Chandler, Ingram and Lonzo on the shelf for the shorthanded Lakers.

ICYMI - BRANDON HAD SUCCESSFUL SURGERY TODAY
Sorry I was working today. Anyhoo, per Lakers
UPDATE: Brandon Ingram underwent successful thoracic outlet decompression surgery on his right arm today. The procedure was performed by Dr. Hugh Gelabert at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Ingram is expected to make a full recovery prior to the start of next season.

Best wishes to BI for a full and swift recovery with no complications |
