I think Luke stays. Injuries were too much. If everyone was healthy and the same result happened then yeah he’s gone. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

You must have some inside info, cause Luke is getting fired after the season, excuses are for Clipper fans not Laker fans. |

Yeah, don’t want any so I won’t vote for one. What is Mike Dunleavy doing these days. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I feel like Lue is the most obvious candidate. Lakers' credential, "championship coach," LeBron's guy |

There is a understandable amount of unfair criticism against Luke, he inherited a small sample size coaching stint in Golden State that was already well established as the leagues premiere #1 basketball team and when we were at full strength earlier this year we were on pace to finish 4th in a brutal Western Conferance so it is not all his fault, and given the fact he is not Magic and Rob's choice he really has only been judged on one goal, making the playoffs this year, but like all great coaches throughout NBA history, they always find a way to win, this season Luke is the scapegoat for why we didnt _________________ Hambuger! Def a chance he stays. But the injuries are no excuse. We havent played well.
He hasn’t gotten the most out of the team. When you do get the most out of your team and still lose, then you get a pass. |

Yep. I've already mentally prepared myself for the Ty Lue announcement. |

Ty Lue wouldn’t be that bad
Proven championship pedigree as a head coach
Coached by Phil in his playing career
Assistant coach working with Thibs, Doc Rivers on those really good Boston KG/Pierce/Allen teams.
Has Lebrons respect
Don’t get the Ty Lue hate. |

It's not as much hate (for me at least) as the belief that indicates that the front office likely didn't conduct a thorough search and vetted a variety of qualified candidates. And, instead, defaulted to keeping things in the family and probably demonstrating some more LeBron influence as well (and we saw how well that went with MUD). I actually don't mind Ty Lue that much. But he's not so good that he should be the obvious candidate without a thorough search. |

In elementary school, I remember my friends would pick out the ugliest, weirdest or strangest girls in school and force me to pick one. |

I’m sure you and your friends were on their “ugliest, weirdest, or strangest boy in school” list as well. |
