I mean, I’ll enjoy seeing what they can do wih all their weapons.

They now have Mayfield surrounded by Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry, Kareem Hunt, Nick Chubb, and David Njoku.

Arguably the best weapons in the league for the young gunslingr.

With those weapons the Browns are going to make the playoffs and who knows how far they will go....good for all the Browns fans that had to deal with all those terrible seasons.

they are definitely taking a page out of the Eagles, Rams, and others playbook to build a competitive team around a "franchise" QB while on rookie contract...

Oh, and the Browns may also end up with Earl Thomas.

John Dorsey: "What I'd like to have right now, is for all you dumb, out of ideas, New York Gettlemans...keep the noise down, as I wield my brainpower, and show the NFL what a real GM looks like. HIT THE MUSIC!"

Le'Veon Bell plans to sign a four-year, $52.5 million contract with the New York Jets, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The deal includes $35 million guaranteed, with a maximum value of close to $61 million, including incentives, a source said.

Thomas is a good get for the Ravens, obviously, who had seen an exodus of talent from their defense. Ingram is fine, though not a major difference-making talent imo.

Tyrell Williams to the Raiders; I actually like him quite a bit. If I didn't feel so bad about the Raider offensive line, I'd like their offense a lot more. Still, it should be a lot better than last season.

AP re-signed with the Redskins. With Guice coming off the ACL injury, it makes sense not to overwork him next season, especially since the Redskins won't be very good, so might as well let he and AP split the carries.

Chargers get Tyrod Taylor to serve as Rivers' backup. I know he was bad last season before Mayfield took over, but I still view this as a considerable upgrade over Geno Smith. And he has familiarity with Anthony Lynn, when both were with Buffalo.

Patriots keep Jason McCourty, who was great last year per PFF as the #11-rated CB.

And in scintillating kicker news, the Seahawks got former Jets kicker Jason Myers (he made the Pro Bowl last season), and the Saints re-upped Will "Triple" Lutz.

The new league year has officially begun, and teams are starting to announce the moves in press releases.

The Chiefs just released Eric Berry, also, another expected move. I'd expect the Browns to have interest, given Berry's ties to John Dorsey.

Hmm, the 49ers were apparently serious about adding another RB, on the heels of reports that they were in on Le'Veon. I suppose they are wary of the health of McKinnon or Breida or perhaps both...

“Boom. We got OBJ. I was so excited. I couldn’t help myself. I was jumping all around my house because I couldn’t help myself; I was so excited. My brother told me to stop but I couldn’t because I was so excited. Couldn’t nothing stop me. So, I had to rejoice outside,” the 17-year-old, identified by FOX8 Cleveland as Robert Stewart, told the station.

The officers asked Stewart why he was screaming so loud and when he told them they, too, celebrated, Stewart said.

“They were like, 'Oh! We got OBJ!' We dapped it up. Everything was all cool. They went about their day,” he told the station

Bridgewater decided to go back to the Saints after all, for a nice $7.25MM sum for being Brees' backup again.

Major BREAKING NEWS:

Tyreek Hill is being investigated for an alleged battery on his own son. Apparently the child ended up with a broken arm out of the incident. Now, I guess it's possible that it could have resulted from a legitimate accident, but if the kid has a broken arm and if it is the result of any anger from Hill--even if, let's say, he grabbed the kid in anger, the kid slipped, fell, and broke his arm--he's still screwed. That would be worse than what Kareem Hunt did.

If the kid was injured as a result of battery from Hill, he's done. The league will have to suspend him (or put him on a restricted list, whatever) for at least a year, and KC will have to release him. I mean, the precedent has already been set by their organization.

According to Angie Ricono, Emily Sinovic and Chris Oberholtz of KCTV, police have been called to Hill's home twice related to child abuse or neglect—first, on March 5 and again on March 14. KCTV obtained copies of the police reports noting that Hill was named in the first report but that prosecutors declined to file charges. Hill was not named in the most recent report, per KCTV.

Just to add to what you added, numero-ocho:

Police records show two recent reports of child abuse at Tyreek Hill’s address
Posted by Mike Florio on March 15, 2019, 6:04 PM EDT

The allegations against Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill have quickly become more significant, and troubling.

According to KCTV, authorities are investigating Hill for not one but two incidents of child abuse. The first happened on March 5, and the second occurred on Thursday, March 14.

The March 5 incident involved a call to police to investigate a report of child abuse or neglect. The case was closed three days later, with a decision not to prosecute.

The second report does not include Hill’s name, but he lives at the address listed on the police documents, and his fiancee’s name appears under a category described as “others involved.”

The Kansas City Star has reported that the second incident resulted in Hill’s three-year-old son suffering a broken arm.

Hill has yet to be charged with any crime.

Horrible. Considering what he did to his fiance, he shouldn't have been allowed in the league in the first place. Given this -- if true -- cut and banned no doubt about it

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on a two-year contract, a source told ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.

A source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the $11 million contract contains incentives that could boost the deal to between $17 million and $20 million.

What are the Dolphins doing? A vet for a rookie they plan on drafting? Who else was going to pay Fitz this much?
