Ok, they traded an UNDER contract outside shooter for an outside shooting soon-to-be free agent who will cost more $$?? This wasn't even a lateral move. Again, was it more Magic or Pelinka? Curious still. |
Svi was an unreliable shooter. Bullock is more proven.
I thought that was a pretty good trade but in fairness I've watched Bullock play exactly twice, so my opinion is near worthless |
Svi was an unreliable shooter as a rookie. It basically took Bullock until his 5th year to become a reliable shooter. Svi's learning curve will be much quicker - unfortunately the FO gave up on him too early. |
Of all things, with Zub being the main one, I'm ok with the Svi trade. That was defensible given how well Bullock was playing. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

This is my concern. Been reading that other GMs don't like Rob and may not want to deal with him. So that leaves Magic, who probably doesn't frequent Lakers HQ often, to come in and be the dealmaker in a lot of talks. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Normally I would not, especially from national media outlets.
However this is coming from Ramona, who basically has a direct line to Jeanie. |

Magic's job is only in July? As president of basketball operations?

Clown show |
And it's because of the Dodgers. Not Laker-related but another team in another sport.
Such lack of awareness is truly astonishing.

Magic already said he'd step down if he isn't successful. What more do you guys want him to say? Why would he need to throw Rob under the bus when he's willing to lay down on the road himself? |

A lot of folks think Magic talks a lot and doesn't mean much. YMMV. _________________ Under New Management |
