Remarkable how each day brings with it a new facepalm.

you blame the lakers fo, without placing the blame on the media and the leakers. you can't keep things in house when you're the best basketball franchise in the nba, and one of the best sports teams in the world. not these days. everything is leaked and reported.

Nothing was leaked, maybe read what you are talking about before posting next time. What is evident is that the Clippers are deep into the Lakers heads. There is fear.

can you imagine Dr. Buss giving two (bleep) about the Clippers

Absolutely - Dr. Buss and Donald Sterling were pals. Sterling loaned Buss the money to close the Lakers deal and Buss recommended that Sterling buy the Clippers. From a business stand point, the Clippers are another team in your market. That affects your customer base, your TV contract, your ticket prices, etc.

The “brother” reference hints at the dispute between Buss and her brothers Jim and Johnny over control of the Lakers that spilled into public view earlier that year. Buss fired Jim as vice president of basketball operations, called him “completely unfit” in a court filing and the brothers eventually agreed under legal pressure that their sister would serve as the team’s controlling owner for the rest of her life.

Jeanie makes me want to vomit

Why? Because she fired an under-performing employee?

But she replaced him with an even worse under performing employee (magic)

The article is more of a way to shine on what a chet show this front office is. Don't be fooled. This is a hit piece to reveal more stupidity from our leadership.

Good News. We don’t need that guy from AEG doing speeches at statue ceremonies anymore. Now one cares when he talks and he just rambles on without a clue.

Bad News. James Dolan will now speak at statue ceremonies.

Good News. The next one is Kobe and it probably won’t be after 2025.

Actually I could. But not in an adversarial way, more in a spirit of community way. I think he would be fine with them being successful. We can’t forget that Donald Sterling helped him get a start in real estate.

Why? Because she fired an under-performing co-owner?

Fixed, Jim is no more of an employee than Jeanie is. And both seem to excel at under-performing.

I would imagine that doing a rebuild utilizing the outside exterior of the Forum would probably end up costing more than just leveling the entire building and building a brand new arena at the same site. You've also got to deal with the structural limitations of a building that was built in the 1960's.
