Of course I wanted PG13, but interestingly, Kemba is about the same age as PG13. However, guards at Kemba's size tend to age less gracefully so there's that.
Jimmy is about 1.4 years older than Kemba/PG13. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I would guess that the league would look very closely at any player who was in the movie and then ended up on Lebron’s team. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Well, better than that going to Boogie.
Yes, and Butler or Walker is better than KCP and Lance. We basically can’t punt cap space next offseason _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

We cannot and should not. 6 years of punt teams and we wonder why there is no established culture on this team. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Really crazy that Ingram is the longest tenured Laker in his third year. At 22 years old.
Add in the coaching changes and ownership bickering and it is even less of a surprise the Lakers are in such chaos.
Will not be any better this summer with all the expiring contract players needing to be replaced or if a mega trade sends out several players. Not too far a stretch to potentially seeing James the only returning player of the top ten mpg this season.
Scary to think of that kind of roster turnover and expecting any kind of chemistry. Good luck Magic!
-have to renounce Bullock first to have enough cap space.
-Jimmy or Kemba at max (I'm assuming KD, KL, Klay, etc. all go elsewhere).
-Dedmon with remaining cap space.
-room exception for whomever you want at the wing shooter spot (let's say Bullock for purposes of this discussion).
That sort of fits with what Magic wants (big name), better shooting (Dedmon/Bullock).
This team really needs a lunch pale guy like Aminu or Mbah a Moute. Their severEly lacking in hustle guys. It's why Williams stands out so much.
They also would need that sniper my man.
Butler and Walker just aren't worth the team missing out on two crucial team needs.
But your point is valid and recieved: Magic won't sign Bogdanovic over Butler.
I agree. Anything's possible though. He's got to be experiencing some moments of self-reflection after the Davis debacle and Zuback trade, so maybe ... _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter.

But Magic is pretty unequovical about having a second "star," though it's a major dilution from KD/KL to Kemba/Jimmy. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Bron needs to get down on his knees for Kawhi to come here. Rich Paul better offer him some Space Jam type movie roles or other projects with Bron.

Absolutely, but it depends on the timing. If Player X signs with the Lakers, then gets cast in a cameo role, it would be no big deal. If Player X signs a deal that pays significant money, then signs with the Lakers around the same time, there would be multiple possible issues.
But this strikes me as unlikely. Kawhi Leonard does not seem like someone who would want to be in the movies.

I agree and not arguing, just pointing out that he's already reticently acknowledged that he was wrong about not needing shooters by making it his top priority at the deadline. It is possible that he just might be interested in a guy, Bogdanovic, who is shooting over 42% from three and averaging 18 points a game.
It doesn't take a very smart man to see that this team is better with Bogs, Rivers, and Aminu than they are with Butler, Jimmer Fredette, and Jared Dudley. _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter.
It'd really be awesome if Magic would do what we had all hoped and be the face of the franchise, pitch the team and let the people who know what they're doing actually do what they're supposed to. _________________ KOBE

Maybe they can bring in somebody great to be a layer between Magic and Rob (steep corporate hierarchies make me want to vomit, but in this case, it may be needed).
Or they can promote Rob out of harm's way, thereby not pissing off Kobe too much, and hire a young hotshot with real GM or assistant GM experience. A Theo Epstein or Sam Presti type.
