This is absolutely horrible GM'ing. This is like letting your little brother take the Nintendo controller when you have 10 lives and upon your return you find yourself with only have one life left.

More like handing the controller to your little brother only to find out he erased your saved data/file, which means starting all over again.

jerry west is a free agent after this season... If we really want him Jeanie needs to fire magic Johnson. lets burn that bridge with him because magic really doesn't bring anything to the table

If we really run back to the Pelicans this summer then we look stupid. They’ve already made us the laughing stock of the league while also making it painfully clear they’re not trading with us.

He turned us into the Knicks.
If anything good came out of the Zubac trade is that a lot of Laker fans woke up from their slumber and realized what a terrible GM he is.

Too soon to fire Magic. He can course correct, but if he continues to show the same mindset of "Stars or Bust" and refuses to TRULY modernize how THE premier franchise in the NBA is ran he needs to be fired.

Some people around here are far too hard on Magic while some are FAR too forgiving.

I was in denial until the Zubac trade. Now, I'm holding out hope that Zu's $1.6 mil is the difference in signing KD, the most expensive max FA. If we get KD this summer, than its all good...if not, I say fire everyone!!!

Probably, he’ll just be promoted to some unique new title - “Executive President” or “Lord of Basketball Ops” or something, and out of harm’s way.

That was the hope for the optimists among us. What we instead got was our worse fears realized.

It already is haunting us. Imagine this team with Dlo and Randle instead of Rondo and KCP. Imagine us with Lopez and Lou Will instead of McGee and Stephenson. We need to get a real GM in place fast like David Griffin or hope that Maginka resigns

We traded DLO for Lopez.... But I get what you're saying.

Whom we allowed to walk away for the same amount of $ paid to....*drum roll*...Michael freaking Beasley.

It's literally been one awful move after the next. It's conical at this point and I'm only left to see if they ca outdo themselves with their next debacle.

If he can pull off getting Kawhi,KD or Kyrie it more than makes up for the mistakes they have made so far. This summer is critical.

The dimming of optimism is... these mistakes were so obvious that everyday basketball fans that will never be on a FO payroll... would never had made them.

I was in favor of drafting Tatum or Fox over Lonzo... Magic went with Lonzo.

I never understood the Lou Williams trade.

Letting a top 10 draft pick in Julius Randle walk, who was improving every year before your eyes, for nothing in return (especially when they could have tendered him).

Trading Zubac for a bag of chips... what Laker fan actually believed this was a good move? No one.

Magic, as a GM, is a clown. He is a carnival act who shouldn't be sniffing the air of any FO team... let alone giving the title of GM.

The Lakers front office... better get their damn act together.

The only way Magic can save his reputation as a "President of Basketball Operations" (or basically the guy calling on the shots) is to pull in one of the top 5 free agents (Durant, Kawhi, Kyrie, Thompson or Butler), stop making stupid trades or letting talent walk for nothing and hitting a home run on their upcoming lottery pick.

If those don't happen... the Lakers are screwed.

If West is available in summer then bring him back home. Keep Magic as face of company, fire Pelinka and promote Jesse and Ryan.

It wasn’t Jeanie ego that said no to Jerry. It was magic.

He is an employee that bullied his way into the position he is in. He fired a part owner. Took out a GM and most likely has Jeanie in the palm of his hand. He was a great player for us. But as an executive the dude is cancer

Magic, like most all-time greats, like to question authority. Usually there is someone to put them back in line.

Magic - Riley
Jordan - Phil
Kobe - Phil
Shaq - Phil, Riley
LeBron - Riley

Magic has only yes men around him as an executive. This falls on Jeanie too.

Is there an online petition where we can sign to get magic fired if not how do we create one? I think if we get at least 3000 signatures we can send it to the lakers and Jeanie can finally fire him

If Kyrie leaves Boston and Knicks get the #1 pick... I think that changes things a lot in our position.

Let´s wait until July before calling for his head.

He has to deliver big time this summer, and he knows it.

I noticed the Lou Williams trade did not make the list. Magic's first brilliant move.
