This will actually require some strategy. You don't want to be at an age that gets you drafted in a war at some point and then you have to weigh in what age you want to be old in. |

it is always simple of the surface, and gets complicated once given thought.....my initial gut would be at least before I was married (early 20's), but hey why not push it back to early teens and do everything perfect? Then I realize, no marriage, no perfect daughter....so it would definitely have to be after my daughter was born and established a strong relationship with me....so the best I could probably do is 5-10 years over. |

No, but let's say you wanted to be 18 years old and attend Woodstock (the original). You'd be subject to the draft, so not ideal.
I misread the OP....Thought it was ANY time period, not you own lifetime. |

Wednesday the 5th of November 2003. I prevent my father from getting in that car to go watch a world cup Rugby match with his friends.

Biff.
Imagine going back to 1980 to see Chick/Showtime again, but you're stuck with 1980 tech knowing what was around in 2019. Even if you have an emotional reason to go back to 80, that's like going back to dinosaurs. That's so long ago that even those who had family members die/killed in 80 wouldn't wanna re-do it all. Plus, you'd have to listen to Air Supply all over again. 85 was a good year for me, but I wouldn't go back, at least that far. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

I would probably be bored from the lack of technology and medicine which would not be as advanced. That being said the music back then was better and I would love to see some historical figures/buildings/relics...etc |

1986. When My grandmother offered me a stock purchase for high school graduation, I wish I'd had her purchase 100 shares of original Microsoft stock instead of Raytheon. Hahahaha. True but freshman year of college for me was mid/late 90s. Internet was fresh and new and fun. No social media, good music, and I’d get to watch Kobes career all over again! Haha |

I can only imagine the amount of "check in's" and selfies I'd be subject to at the dive bar I hung out in 4-5 nights a week. |

With what I know now?
Age 10. Not only would I sort out sports betting and where to invest, but I'd hope I could make myself and my parents millionaires over time.
Would have absolutely ate/trained differently to play HS basketball too.
Hopefully I'd find my way to the Laker organization and just tell them who to draft every year. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

About 16. At that age, I was as driven as ever and it was right before I went a little off track. Developed bad habits around that time. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of success later, but had I stayed on track at that age, I think my trajectory would have been even better. |
