Amazing how 3 years ago Spider-Man was barely in the MCU and now he will be the face of the franchise.

Wonder if there will be news on the partnership with Sony, because doesn't he only have one more appearance left? And I'd love to see more of his characters come through into the MCU.

Looks better than the last Spider-Man, which I thought was okay but one of the weaker Marvel movies.

Feige at Marvel said no news until this summer after FFH releases. I think if this movie is a success (it will be) then Sony can't walk away from the deal. MCU is basically doing all the work and Sony just collects a check.

I grew up with Toby as Spider-Man but he's my least favorite of the 3. I don't get the appeal. Garfield's 2nd movie was bad but his take on Spider-Man (humor, costume, movement) were all fantastic, IMO.

I would have thought that too, but the success of Venom has me wondering if Sony says 'we want our own universe and we proved we can be successful' and decides not to share any of the profit and keep Spidey to themselves.

I am hoping the multiverse is a ruse, and that Mysterio is but a scammer, as is his typical persona in the comics.

Mysterio is without a doubt the main villian - all those CGI monsters he fights are just that (advanced CGI Illusions)
