It occurs to me that the younger generations will probably have no idea who this was. The Mod Squad was a little cheesy at the time, and today it seems like cheese factory. But it was culturally significant. She married Quincy Jones and pretty much dropped out after that, but did some occasional acting, most notably in Twin Peaks of all things. RIP |

However at this point she's best known as Rashida Jones' mother |

And then there’s those of us old enough to have had a young crush on her. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Back in the day, Mod Squad did some location work right by my house. It was one of coolest things ever to get to say “hi” to those three. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

I remember the Mod Squad. Peggy was was married to Quincy Jones. They had two children. RIP _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I know this dates me, but when I was a kid I watched Mod Squad faithfully. Peggy Lipton was my idea of the perfect kind of hot. _________________ Not a legend |

That she was. My like was Clarence Williams III's big natural. I wore one and tried to emulate his. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
