Get ready BI. Vogel will teach you the next level, bruh. Be mindful of the instruction, and you will get there. This is the opportunity you’ve been preparing for.

Believe in Ingram. It would be a breakout season after 3 years’ development. He is ready as shown in late of this season

Comparing two players in an imperfect science, but the practice can help fans try to get a glimpse of their favorite player’s future. Let’s see how Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram’s 3rd season in the NBA compares to Kobe Bryant’s junior year.

How did Los Angeles Lakers forward, Brandon Ingram‘s third season in the NBA compared to the legendary Kobe Bryant? Let’s take a look.................

Looks like someone's been reading LG's thread on Ingram.

By telling him to not even think about practicing his jump shot for 3 years?

"My gut tells me that Brandon Ingram’s going to be the next Kobe Bryant."

Ummm...I'll have to disagree with the writer.

1. I didn't click, does it actually have something worth reading? Or does the content match the ridiculous headline?

2. Also, is it true that BI isn't starting basketball activities for another month?

3. Isn't it funny how we hear less about how great Tatum and Simmons are after their playoffs this year? When BI gets healthy, he's going to show the world they should have never put those 2 guys above him.

Hopefully he will get healthy. I don't know what he might be able to do to improve his strength and conditioning, though . . . and his shot.

Yea.. My point is the front office gets to decide where he goes, and if he goes. They said they intend to keep him. They also made it clear they don't want to do business with us.

Yeah, I don't really see how the Lakers getting the #4 pick really changes that either. There's not much difference this year between the #4 and #11 picks. And the Lakers offer - whatever that ended up being -- was rejected by ownership, not just the GM. You can be sure ownership will be involved in any AD trade again, and it's the same owners.

Brandon Ingram is THE youngest player to achieve a top 5% One on One talent grade in our database at @The_BBall_Index (2013-19 seasons). 0 players over that span have a better rating in our One on One metric at a younger age.

The offseason development is my primary concern. That's 3-4 months he won't get back to work on things like his jumper, 3s, FTs, and his body. He'll be playing catchup from August-training camp while the others will have a solid 5 months to do so. I hope things don't sour if/when Lakers don't offer an early extension this summer given the circumstances. BI was one of the guys who seemed to play well through the trade distractions, so I don't think it will, but there are just so many things swirling in the BI pool right now.

Why are we assuming he will be completely off the court and not working out for 3-4 months?

My guess is that they will limit any physical contact for months, but he should be able to weight lift, run and work on his game way before he is 100%.

I wouldn't be shocked if he is already shooting and working on footwork right now.
