No, you’re trying to defend Rob. And spending a lot of effort doing so. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

I can see why you'd think that.
I spent a bit too much time on the internet last night doing a "Kobe" "Joker" search on Google Lol.
I really do find the made up story bizzare and troubling.
If it's pure BS he made up on the spot with the Rock and the team right in front of him, I think he has to go.
That would be a deep psychological character flaw that I wouldn't want around the Lakers.
So before jumping to that conclusion, I was trying to find something out there that shows, while he probably did embellish a story, it's not *pure* BS (although it is still BS!)
Embellishing a story to look cool in front of someone important, like the Rock, is a slightly less troubling character flaw.
Anyway, it appears that most here don't find the made up story that troubling, which is fine.

You have 130k posts of bitter ex-lover material and you're making fun of someone's post effort

Gotta say, best PHIL on the board
Baxter Holmes of ESPN has been making the rounds following his inflammatory exposé on the Lakers and, during his appearance on “The Lowe Post” with Zach Lowe (also of ESPN), he tried to explain the Pelinka-Rambis dynamic:
“That is one I went down pretty far. And I went back to when Rob was introduced, he said this really long, flowery thing about Linda Rambis, and I remember being there that day and looking at my transcript.
“I asked quite a bit of people ‘Why is Linda so loyal to Rob? Why is Rob so loyal to Linda?’ and people in the organization and around the organization, and who are deeply familiar with the Lakers are like ‘I’m not sure. I really don’t know, but it’s weird. And because of it, we think Rob is untouchable because of how much power Linda wields and how close she is to Jeanie.’
“I would love an answer to that. I know people in the organization would love an answer to it. But there’s some reason why Linda is deeply, deeply loyal to Rob, and given who she is and the power she has, people there believe it gives him, I don’t want to say invincibility, but something in that realm.”

Omg does this mean Rob and Kurt are Brother husbands and their relocating the Lakers to Vegas. Honestly though i really can’t keep up with these stories. Apparently Rob is totally lying to our faces about Kobe Batman Bryant and his new found love in Linda while Kurt is totally chilling in the background 😎 or is it Kurt find out next week with Lakers and the restless

And the thing is, I'm sure Bastard knew that his wording of Linda's loyalty to Rob would logically lead people to think of an affair going on. I wonder if there was something. Or if it's more of a friendship since she's probably known him for a while due to Kobe. We need answers Linda!
Wasn't it Kurt Rambis who got caught liking a porn post or something? Maybe he and his wife are into threesomes/swinging/cuckold etc. But in all reality, Rob's got good looks, style and charm, he wouldn't need to have sex with a woman to enjoy favorable treatment.

Considering almost anyone with a functioning penis has watched porn during their lifetime, that's quite a leap from liking a porn post... to swinging... lol

Total respect. Appreciate someone who doesn’t need to cut someone down to express their viewpoint. It’s a sign of maturity.

Rob must have photos of either Jeanie or Linda in a compromising position. Can't see any other conclusion as to why he still has a job.
What's Jeannie have left to compromise? She did the Playboy May 1995 pictorial. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
