What's Jeannie have left to compromise? She did the Playboy May 1995 pictorial.

Maybe one of her young boy toys?

I cant tell if you're actually trying to be serious here or not but either way I am enjoying it

I’ve heard rumors but who knows how accurate they are. But if it was good for Doc there is nothing wrong with Jeanie to enjoy herself. She is unattached and we can’t be sexist.

“I would love an answer to that. I know people in the organization would love an answer to it. But there’s some reason why Linda is deeply, deeply loyal to Rob, and given who she is and the power she has, people there believe it gives him, I don’t want to say invincibility, but something in that realm.”

Omg does this mean Rob and Kurt are Brother husbands and their relocating the Lakers to Vegas. Honestly though i really can’t keep up with these stories. Apparently Rob is totally lying to our faces about Kobe Batman Bryant and his new found love in Linda while Kurt is totally chilling in the background 😎 or is it Kurt find out next week with Lakers and the restless

Of everything I've read about Rob, it seems one of his best skills is ingratiation. He knows who to get in with and how to get in with them. When he joined the Lakers, he already knew he had to suck up to Jeanie but then probably quickly saw how influential Linda is. Maybe it was his idea to get Kurt an advisor role and that made Linda love him. Now he's protected forever. Just a dumb theory but that's what I would have done.

That makes sense. Getting close to Jeanie would be easy as Kobe's agent whom she adores.

I get such "icky" vibes when I think about this team's front office. This theory definitely would fit right into that.

Rob is a patsy. Phil Jackson is making all the decisions for the Lakers.

Whether we like it or not Pelinka holds the reins in one of the most important off seasons in recent memory.
He sounds like a hard working and smart guy.
Hope he is smart enough to take advice and opinions, but make up his own mind for the good of the Lakers.

I'm liking how this FO is operating early. Looks like someone took charge and we are operating in silence just like back in the west and mitch Era. The way the FO should be running.

Draft - Culver is the only top draft we heard so far, I highly doubt they only looked one player at the moment.

Coach - Hollins and Vogel were signing that occurred without any rumor of it happening at first.

It's early but liking how the rumor stopped when magic stepped down. This gives me hope for a surprise name as FA signing or a surprise trade Ala Pau happening this summer. We will see.

Well, I think we can all agree that "nothing" is better than what we were getting a couple weeks ago. Whether "nothing" is actually "something" remains to be seen.

When everything that comes out sounds like a PR disaster, maybe it makes sense to just keep quiet.

I think the silence around the draft is us telegraphing pretty nakedly that we intend to move the pick. The lack of workouts is strange. The Draft is in 2 weeks and they've looked at one prospect.

OR could it be that the Lakers are the team that gave Garland the guarantee (to keep or trade for various reasons). just a thought
