Metta World Peace was on Mason & Ireland to promote his new documentary "Quiet Storm" which airs on Showtime this Friday and shared some tidbits about past and current Lakers (starts midway through the link):
http://www.espn.com/espnradio/losangeles/play?id=26840845
- LeBron and Kobe are the toughest players he ever had to defend
- Proud that Kyle Kuzma reached out about working out with him this summer on defense
- Believed Lonzo Ball getting hurt last season was what really derailed their playoff hopes, believes he'll win a championship one day _________________

I got around to watching this last weekend (they offered Showtime for free for like a weekend) it was well done but as a Pacers fan I was reacting like Jermaine. I still have issues with Ron and wasn't happy for him when he won it all.
That being said it was interesting to learn a different side to him and see how he got to that point that he also went back to school and learned coding. So as much as I resent Ron setting the Pacers back I am glad he managed to make the most of the second chance he was given many don't. |
