After Alex Morgan's early goal, Rose Lavelle scores soon after for the USA to take a 2-0 lead. This one does not look like it will be competitive early on...

Last time it was 9-0, in the Olympics. Thailand may still improve on that score.

USA was -5,000 / -4.5 Goals coming into the match! Over/under was for match was 5.5 Goals. So if you bet $5,000 on the USA....you would have won a cool $100.

Man, that -4.5 goals and O/U of 5.5 goals would've been the easiest money.

Carli Lloyd just missed a give me.....then a 21 year old Mallory Pugh scores her first World Cup goal!

USA 11-0....think that ties the WWC record for most goals.

for a couple months, I have heard France and Germany are the only real threats to the US.....I did not think Germany looked impressive in their match, but I did not watch France.

Alex Morgan (Orlando Pride ) is going to be a legend after this World Cup.....1st player to ever have 5 Goals & 2 Assists in a Women's World Cup match.

Don’t sleep on England and possibly The Netherlands.

ok...I barely know the basics of soccer, and only really watch World Cup and Olympics....but as far as who is good, I usually only know what I read and am told. Today was good on one hand with all the scoring, but not very entertaining because it was so one sided.

WVU has surprisingly built a really strong women's soccer program, and we have two former players on Cameroon (who appear to not be very good) and one player on Canada (who appear solid). Actually our player for Canada, Kadeisha Buchanan, scored their only goal to beat Cameroon this week.

Jesus there needs to be a mercy rule. I don't follow soccer really but I don't think I've ever seen a 13-0 beat down like this.

Wait, they have the two tournament favorites, the USA and France, drawn to likely play in the quarterfinals? Ridiculous.
