Put me in the camp that would rather trade Lonzo. Hopefully Gentry can sweet talk Griffen into the Lonzo/Holiday backcourt he supposedly loves the idea of.

Let Lebron be the primary ball handler and find George Hill types to play the point.

This thread contributed to both my suspensions in my 8 years of posting here, and Ingram has been my second favorite player (after Kobe) in that span.

I'm gonna be sad to see it go, hopefully it ain't so

Yup. He’s my favorite player right now. I really think the breakout was coming too. Sad to see him go. But bron/ad and one of Kyrie/kawhi/buckets is a good consolation

Pelicans are my second favorite team so I will get to see him grow either way.

If Ingram and Ball are both included in the deal, doesn’t that mean we expect either Kyrie, KL or Butler to sign with us?

IF they can keep all of them
do you really think NO can keep Lonzo there? or BI?
both guys would probably take the 1 year QO and leave

that's not to mention that they'll only (bleep) up the league if they can all live up to their supposed potential.

I'm already planning my three year exile on the New Orleans Lakers thread in the general section.

This is biggamehames, obviously. I was just banned for what I can only assume was the exchange I had on this and the prior page. I need to be given some kind of explanation as to how that decision was made. I was asking to not make the exchange political. I was mislabeled but despite that, I avoided any sort of political discussion. If it is the language, why was a suspension not sufficient? Why has the post not been deleted since? I deserve an explanation because quite frankly banning me is unjustifiable.

Sorry to other posters who are annoyed by this message but I deserve a right to an answer.

It wasn't me, but it also wasn't a ban. It was a one week suspension for both you and your arguing partner.

My account says banned. Can you please make sure that is fixed? I won’t post again from this username and will acknowledge the suspension once it is adjusted.

That's just the default wording unless the mod creates a different message. But I checked and it is a one week suspension. See you next week.

Been a week. Still says banned

If BI wanted to stay on the Lakers, wouldn't it be a good time to have "complications" with his recovery?

If Ingram was a game changer and a guy that could put the Lakers back in contention there would be no discussion on whether to trade him. Sure I like him and it would be nice to keep him but it's been too many years since we've been in contention. Time to move.

We had 5 lottery picks, 3 second picks and a #4 indeed, over the past several years. However, you let go 1 for nothing, and traded away a #2 pick for dumping a 2 years contract, and is trading the rest 3 picks for a player? 5 lottery picks for a player basically. You know 1 lottery pick implied 1 bad year and a top 3 pick implied an extremely bad year......

Windhorst on ESPN says David Griffin is using the Lakers to raise the price on the Celtics and that if he wanted to make the Lakers deal he already would have made the deal.

Ingram is a rehab work in progress no guarantee he can return to his former ability. Anytime you have a shoulder injury you are in real danger of not being able to play at an elite level. I wish him a speedy recovery and hope he returns better then ever. Having part of your rib removed and a vein that doesn't pump blood properly is really scarey. I wish people would stop ignoring he might have to be shut down for a long time.

As if a GM waiting to get the best possible deal is something unique to the Anthony Davis trade.
