don't want any "Well he's in D'Antoni's system" if Lonzo starts showing out next year.

People that ignore any kind if progress tend to stay in denial or make excuses why a player is doing well after they spent months/years hating on them.

Is LaVar moving to NO now?

Will NO be required to draft LaMelo n LiAngelo?

His reaction while at the Drew League as he was told Zo got traded was reminiscent of George Bush as he got the news of 911

Gonna miss Lonzo, I was very high on him but with KD and Klay going down the West has never been more open. This trade had to be made

Pretty much. As all of us definitely felt JKidd was brought in mainly to mentor Zo, we forgot he’s been a mentor for Lebron throughout his entire career.

LaVar hasn't even been that vocal this season. But people keep naming him more than he named the Lakers this year.

So sad to see my favorite player go, man but I'll always watch him.
I don't think I have ever been so passionate for a player besides Kobe Bryant
Zo is special for sure.

Glad I don’t have to try to root for him anymore. Guy just doesn’t have confidence out there. I’ll be surprised if he ever gets much better than he is now. Great defender though.

don't know.
getting him out of the LA spotlight and away from his loud mouth helicopter father might be the best thing for him
NO will definitely be low pressure - maybe he'll be able to turn it around

hated to see Zo gone as I enjoyed seeing him grow as a Laker. GodSpeed in NO, but the trade was needed in order to get a franchise top 5 player.

The Lakers will NEVER recover from trading Zo.

Unbelievable that they would do something so stupid.

Zo is a HOF'er

I won't say never, but it will be 10 years before the Lakers will be able to fully recover from this trade. This trade was so short-sighted and such a big mistake. Zo and BI make All Star, the Pels make their run, and the FO (and Magic) will be regarded as fools.

Yeah, a guy that can't shoot threes, free throws or finish layups is a HOF...

Lonzo was always overrated on here IMO, sucks he had to go but considering what we got back, he won't be missed

Not that I'm advocating any thread is moved.. found it peculiar that Ingram, and Hart's thread have been moved.. Not this one.

I understand the negatives that haters point out, but Zo's ceiling is just so much higher than BI or Kuz. Hate to see Zo go. Oh well. What's done is done. But if the Pels end up being better than the Lakers next year and Zo pops in his 3 year, it's going to be fun around here.

Alright, AD. Time to prove you are worth it.

I think with the trade the Pels have a better chance of forming a dynasty than the Lakers do, but the Lakers should have a better chance at a title run next year.

we might see ESPN 30 for 30 about Lonzo man

his dad ruined his career. His loud, boastfulness didnt think help him with the organization.

his talk also affected Lonzos play I believe. Hopefully he separates himself a little and does well in NO. I dont know though. he has all the potential in the world.
