So, Kuzma ended up outlasting Ingram, Ball, Russell, Randle, Nance, Clarkson, Hart, etc. of all the Lakers young guys since 2014.

This kid is so alpha. Glad he's still here, I know he's gonna improve.

He better step his game up or he’s absolutely next. He may have been able to lobby for his job this year but that stuff won’t last when he’s consistently fouling three point shooters, shooting every time he touches the ball, and gets torched in iso defensively.

I wish Kuz focused more on rebounding/defense instead of trying to be a Kobe-esque scorer but I think it was best for the Lakers for him to stay and BI/Lonzo to go.

Kuz is at least a good FT shooter and shoots at 3.6 FTA per game. He shot a poor 30.3% from 3PT last season but I think he'll settle down and it'll smooth out at 35-37% next season now that teams will be focused on AD & Lebron.

He can also penetrate and finish around the basket, plus he has a floater. He needs to improve his passing/vision but overall I'm happy he's staying.

Kuzma exceeded draft expectations and is a good image guy n camera, not surprised he survived.

Kuz had better make sure his 3pointer is working next season, we're gonna need it

Two gtrest passing big men, no doubling on Kuzma, lots of cuts to the cup, run outs on breaks. 15/6/3 I think is very reasonable expectations.

Good point.
Depending on if we get a 3rd star

Yup. A big reason is his cheap contract

I would be shocked. He is a great off ball scorer on a cost controlled contract. I can’t imagine who they could get at his salary who would be nearly as good a match for this team.

I have a feeling you're not a smart person.

What would he be traded for exactly? A 20 ppg off ball scorer on a ridiculously cheap contract for the next two seasons.

Hes part of the dominate lineup that's going to happen with the next max player we get.

Yeap... Except our team has no guard or center play at all (assuming AD stays at PF)...

Except we can't really match salaries in a trade anymore. We can't get anyone as good as or better than Kuzma at his price.

Kuzma doesn’t need the ball to be effective. That works very, very well around stars who need the ball.

He needs to continue to work on the D (which improved a bit last year statistically) and get that three ball more consistent.

He chases clout and sucked up to his bosses and was able to stay. Kudos to him. Time to make it worth it.
