Because that's where all the space is. They don't have to take the corner 3, but when everyone is in a panic and collapsing into the space driving into a wall of players surrounding the basket might not be the brightest thing ever.
Anyway Lavar made some good points and he made some poor points. For example, Lavar said Kuz and Ingram were raggedy without Lonzo. Really? Ingram's done some of his best stuff without Lonzo on the floor. Why? Because he's a shot creator, he creates his own shots, and so doesn't need Lonzo feeding the ball to him all day. |

if we are able to sign Kyrie, then we should move him.
if we sign anyone else, Lonzo is important.
overall, I'd say between his lackluster/inconsistent play and daddy running around insulting Magic ("who is Magic"), the Luke (who Jeanie loves), other players including LeBron, and naming other teams he'd rather play with... Lonzo/his camp are starting to make it tough to deal with him going forward... which is exactly what daddy wants. |

One of the first things I thought of after seeing the trade go down was man that’s awesome to get rid of Lavar. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

We had to tolerate him because we were hoping Zo would fulfill his potential but now that he's no longer part of the team it will be tough to root for Zo knowing his Dad has a whole arsenal of "I told you sos!" locked and loaded. _________________ "Suck it up. Thank God, I just feel bad about Lonzo. I really like his skills and his demeanor, seems like a really good kid. |

Good riddance! I always wanted De'Aaron Fox over Lonzo anyway. I'm happy that we can finally close the book on the Ball family era of Lakers history. |

Lamelo and lonzo actually have a better chance of being on the same team next year. That would be crazy. If Zo stays in NO I'm sure there getting into lottery next year _________________ I got Nothing interesting to put here |
