I'm really worried.

I got a voicemail message from the office of social security. Due to some suspicious activity linked to my SSN, they are suspending it.

Someone told me that it might be a scam, but I don't believe it. Why would someone lie to me like that?

Call them immediately!!! This is no scam. Just in case, you'll have to give them your SSN again, of course to verify. My bank account and PIN were shared to confirm it was me. But it saved me! I am so thankful to that young man with heavy foreign accent. He was a life saver!
