51.2% from corner 3s last season. This is very important as Lebron loves to pass the ball at corners.

That’s an underrated fact. If he can play a lick of defense, he will be a rotation player for us.

The 27-year-old will make $2.1 million on a one-year deal, and perhaps more importantly, the signing won't affect the team's salary cap as it pursues other free agents, per Charania.

Daniels spent last season with the Phoenix Suns, averaging 6.2 points in 51 games.

The best attribute the 6'4" guard provides is his ability from three-point range. He shot 38.1 percent from beyond the arc last season (and is a career 40 percent shooter from range) despite not having many other players to draw attention outside of Devin Booker.

Literally a shooter and nothing else, but wow can he shoot. Would almost argue he’s a better value than what Seth got from Dallas

Welcome Troy!

He also shot 81% from the FT line which was a big problem with the Lakers last year.

A player comfortable making catch and shoot 3s.
This is an area we have to stockpile on.

I feel the difference between the 2 is Daniels is primarily a spot up shooter while Seth can also shoot well off the dribble or curling around screens.

Yeah exactly my point. Comparing the two plays you will not see that much difference in their 3 pt shooting. In fact i think Troy is more of a snipper on catch and shoots. He has height at 6.5

The roster just increased by 33.33 %.

Only ~10 to go.

Great signing. To fully unlock LeBeast you need good spacing. It makes things so much easier.

He's considered one of the worse, if not the very worse, defenders in the NBA.

However, if played even a little bit of defense, he wouldn't be available for the vet's minimum given how he shoots.

Yeah, thats basically my feeling as well. When you're trying to fill out your roster with vet min players, you're not gonna get complete players. You just need to make sure you have some balance among the entire group

Shoots 4.4 threes a game over his 6 year career, never shooting below .364 in a single season. High of .484 in 43 games on 2.8 attempts a game for in 2015-2016. Consistently great FT shooter. Vast, vast majority of his threes are assisted, which is a plus. Career .506 shooter from the corner.

Can't wait for him to record career lows for us next season.

I'm afraid that is going to be regular sentiment regarding the Laks during the next couple of weeks/months.
