KL SG
Lebron SF
Davis PF/C
Kuzma Pf/SF

also now signed up for the Laker adventure:

Troy Daniels SG
Jared Dudley SF

So we stand at:

PG ???
SG KL, Daniels
SF Lebron, Dudley
PF Davis, Kuzma
C ???

The easy answer at PG is probably Rondo and Caruso, though I hope we find someone else and either not sign Rondo or keep him as a 3rd PG.

Center Williams from the D-league is a probable deep bencher. I don't know if McGee or Vonleh are still available cheap.

Vonleh has already been signed. But I expect for them to pursue a starting C since AD supposedly doesn't like to play C. I wouldn't mind Boogie. And if JaVale is willing to take the vet minimum, I'd go for him too. If that were to happen I'm sure Boogie would start, but I would hope that JaVale gets some burn with AD. Their foot speed and rim protection as a tandem would be electric

Point guard is an enormous mystery. Very, very few options. I know Rondo and Caruso are projected to be their best options, but neither of them can space the floor.

The room would be either
- KCP
- Rondo
- Boogie
- McGee
- McConnell
- Marcus Morris

Vet would be
- Rondo
- Boogie
- Hollis Jefferson
- Iggy (if bought out)
- Markieff Morris
- Chandler
- Faried
- Noah
- Carter
- Melo
- Korver (if bought out)
- JR (if bought out)

Other potential buyouts
- Tristan Thompson
- Gotan Dragic

You only need 4-5 good role players if you have:

Kawhi
LeBron
AD
Kuzma

I'd add in:

Rondo
KCP
Iggy (after buyout)
DMC or Green (for room exception)
McGee or Chandler

Not to mention:

Caruso
Daniels
Dudley
Melo

We will be just fine. We don't have to land 10 great role players like people are suggesting. Most of the people we can afford are already standing by waiting so...

I thibk we add KCP with the room exception(I doubt D. Green takes it), there is no real need for Cousins with all Davis/Bron/Kawhi since one will be on the floor all times, and I don't think he takes the vet min.

Min contracts

Alex Caruso
Trey Burke
Igoudala
Justin Holiday
Cheick Diallo
Khem Birch
JaMychal Green

Johnathan Williams - returning on 2 way contract

Caruso/Burke
Leonard/KCP/Holiday/Daniels
Bron/Kuz/Iguodala
JaMychal Green/Dudley/THJ
AD/Cheick Diallo/Khem Birch

closing lineup

Bron/KCP/Leoanrd/Kuz/AD

If JaMychal Green returns to clippers (very probable) replace him with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

I suppose we'll have AD as the big, Kuzma and LeBron at forward, and Kawhi at SG in a potential closing lineup? Either that or LeBron at PG and Kawhi as the other forward...

Either way what we need for the 5th guy in this closing lineup is a 3 and D guard who can defend PGs. Maybe Trey Burke? Worst case you just throw Caruso out there...

Iggy would be perfect if he got bought out.

What about Avery Bradley (if waived by Memphis)? Not a proven distributor at PG, but with LeBron on board, we don't really need that from him. Solid shooter and great defender (when healthy).

Didn't he play great for Memphis last year?
I loved his defense on the Celtics.
He never found his stride on the clips.
I'd take a look
