You guys sure he is a good defender? I thought one reason the Clippers shipped him out is he didn’t give them anything on D and Doc Rivers hated his game. And he hasn’t stuck around much anywhere after that. Why wouldn’t teams offer him more if he can shoot AND defend? Trevor Ariza is a little bit older and look at how much money he keeps getting.

I’m still okay with the move though because at least the team is trying to get shooters this offseason. And he should get some great looks when playing with superstars.

He's ok. I don't expect huge minutes from him. But he will fight and scrap 12-14mpg. It's his locker room presence and renowned ability to work with young guys that will be very important to our team.

You’re right. I don’t want to hate on the move. Just questioning the good defender part but even if he isn’t he can definitely still help. And I do think he can help on offense at least.

Career 39% from 3. Gritty defender. Some playoff experience. I'm down for the vet minimum. I would've preferred others for the vet minimum, but meh

Get it that on a board where people thought we would get Terrence Ross for the minimum, it is disappointing.

But I think these are the type of vet min deals that are realistic. I like it.

What is important on this team is chemistry, glue guys. We may have the best trio of all time coming together by end of day. Jared is precisely that kind of player. Plus, he plays small ball PF and we can throw him against physical big wings too.

Saw Dudley at the LV airport when he was with the Suns. Walked by him and pulled a "Go Lakers" sneeze. He smiled and boo'd me lol. Seems like a nice dude.

Yep. I also like him for his ability to keep any potential tensions with the stars in check.

Golden State could have used a guy like that heh

I like this signing. Dudley is the kind of guy you hate to go up against, but love to have on your own team.

We got rid of all our young guys. Dudley is a body.

You need to have guys who will have want to be here.

Jeff Green will be competing for minutes with Lebron, Anthony Davis, and possibly Kawhi Leonard. Do you think he would want to sign a ONE-YEAR contract playing behind those guys? His stats will suffer and potentially his next contract due to reduced playing time.

smh

I am impressed that he wanted to play here so badly that he pitched himself to LeBron.

Welcome to the Lakers, Dudley.

Put him on Ben Simmons or Draymond in the playoffs!

Green is probably at least a mini-MLE if not full MLE level player.

Look at the bottom here, “notify me when a reply is posted”.

When Jason owned the site he sold LG T shirts as a fundraiser. I think that I bought 4 and wore them until they were rags.
