Depends. Are we swinging and whiffing?
Or is it a called strike while looking?
Better be swinging!

That being said, LeBron and AD and Rob are not striking out.
We'll get a sac fly at the least and score the runner on 3rd.

Even if we have to bunt him in....

Squeeze play baby!

Unless we are planning to forfeit the season which is highly unlikely.

A strike out is a swing and miss so unless we sign no one we cannot strike out.

I'd give it a 60% chance of Rob once again filling out the roster with garbage. Rumblings of KCP, Jr Smith, Melo, Rondo, etc. have me feeling major apprehension.

That wouldnt be a strike out.

That would be grounding into a double play.

In your opinion. To me that's worse than a strike out

Haha. Fair. Then its a groundout.

Striking out implies whiffing entirely no?

It is funny that we used to say our free agency failure was because we lacked star players to recruit. We now not only have one but two top players but we are still not the front runner of any max free agent.

Today's rumors:

KL-Clips or Raps (allegedly)
Kemba-Celts
Klay-Warriors
KD-Nets
Kyrie-Nets
Butler-76ers (5 year max?)
DLO-?

List seems to be dwindling down, and maybe a reason why we didn't preemptively get to 32m in cap space b/c if we know none of the 7-9 year max guys are coming...

It could be possible that we are making KL our plan A so other free agents just turn to other teams who make them the priority

After today's news, it's hard to believe the Lakers don't have someone lined up...not if it's KL or not, but I think these moves suggests it's one of the better FA
