Paul George for turning the opportunity down to play with LeBron and the opportunity to play with AD one year later, just to play in a small market and see a first round exit every year.

Lue for getting too self-absorbed and cocky, demanding a long term coaching gig despite only having a coaching record heavily dependent on Lebron’s sole performance/greatness. Still unemployed.

Woj for looking straight idiotic and being exposed as Ballmer’s mouthpiece.

Since the other 2 are still making a very nice living, I'd say Lue. He could've coached a team and had a few more championships under his belt instead of sitting at home.

Lue isn’t self absorbed, if all other championship coaches get paid a certain way then he should as well. Period. Taking that contract would have been a bad look for him

Nice poll, but buddy, you forgot the most important choice

o Pops. for trading the "end-of-life" Kawhi to Toronto.

Poll should also maybe have included Magic.

He would 100% take that offer now to coach a lakers dream team. So in hindsight it was a bad decision. Everyone knows that a bird in the hand is worth more than a potential situation somewhere. Ego vs. reality.

D'Antoni had a bad situation here but it ended up very well for him. If you can handle LA you can handle anything.

PG13 definitely be thinking, "What if I had a rated R personality and was able to say eff you OKC, I'm out...I could be a LA Avenger. But I'm PG13, this is my life. "

The Cavs still owe Lue around $10M. He's getting paid a lot of money to be semi retired, and he only would have made the offset/difference between what remains on his Cleveland contract and what the Lakers were offering him, which apparently would only have been $1-2M per year.

I don't know ... sit at home in retirement and be paid $5M a year or go back to the NBA grind get paid $6M a year. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Lue coaching again in a couple of years, but I also would probably make the same choice.

And I didn't want the Lakers to become Cavs-West anyway, so I was quite happy that we did not hire Lue.

Woj I think has the most to lose since his career depends on credibility and reporting facts.

Ty lue stayed in his former state of millionaire style unemployment, and pg also stayed basically at his former status of getting paid his all star money on a team that wont win a championship like he was on Pacers. Neither lost anything, basically broke even. Woj actually loses credibility in the OPs provided scenarios.

Thank you Paul George. We are about to have Kawhi and AD because you didn't want to join us. MVP level contribution there!

Westbrook and George are perfect for each other. I never was that excited about the possibility of George being a Laker.

clearly George regretted his decision the most. Couldnt hang more than a season before worming his way off the Thunder.
