Dat Insane Bias......
Clippers traded Tobias and became a better team without him. They lost Danilo, but they gained Leonard + PG13.
It's like the nonsense people spoke about losing DD for Leonard, even though DD is better than Danilo.....
Clippers took a healthy Warriors team to 6 games...
Leonard + PG13> Lebron + AD
Just remember that AD wasn't carrying the pelicans anywhere last season when he requested a trade to the lakers. |

The clippers gonna be a tough team to beat because they have 3 elite defenders on the peremeter. Unfortunately for them we have 2.5 elite front court players (mayb 3 if Boogie gets to 80%) who will destroy them in the paint and have the team in foul trouble. People overrate Doc as a coach for 1 title with multiple good teams yet people forget vogel almost took out Heatles |

It doesn’t matter that much. They have KL and PG13 to fill that rule just like we have LBJ. In the playoff, usually it depends on which team has the player who can score on isolation. They have got three and we have got two. However, Lebron will not be as good as he was. Last season, there were many occasions when he faced a PF and he couldn’t get passed them by speed. |

I believe in mismatches, especially in the NBA.
AD will feast on their team the same way he always feasted on the Warriors, they have no one to slow him down.
If Boogie resembles anything of a decent center, good luck against those two. |

Neither of those guys combined average the assists that LeBron does by himself. They are not distributors or shot creators for others, heck AD averaged more assists than KL last year lol

Don't forget McGee. Zu and Harrell are not gonna be able to defend him either. I'm telling you, against the clippers, it's gonna be BBQ Chicken in the post. |

I think the jazz will take out thebclippers but let’s say we do meet them, we will hve the advantage inside. Slow down the pace like the Cavs did several years ago and let’s bully them inside.
If we have green, Davis, cook, lebron, and kuzma on the floor, they won’t be able to double team. I’ll take lebron and AD over any of the current clippers on the block all day long. |

The only team in the NBA who comes close to the front court we can have on the floor would be the Sixers. |

We are a more talented team. They also have two great players but Green Cousins and Kuz beat the rest of the Clippers roster |

Something that people don't realize about the Clippers last year is how often they played against teams with key injuries. They beat the Warriors when Steph was out. They beat the Rockets right after the Lakers brawl with CP3 suspended. They beat the Blazers when Nurkic got hurt in the middle of the game. They beat OKC without Westbrook. They beat the Suns by 4 without Booker. There were probably about 10 examples like this and they were still barely able to sneak into the playoffs. In January they were getting creamed, winning games here and there but when they lost they were getting blown off the court until the Lakers gifted them Zubac at the deadline. They played well overall but there is somewhat of a perfume over what they accomplished to hide the stench. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

I think the Lakers roster compares pretty well against the Clippers roster. Clippers best players all play overlapping positions.
Also, glad Lakers don't have Mitch Kupchak overpaying players anymore. |

We should have drafted Shamet in the first place.
42% from range... instead we took Mo.
Of course, we probably would have traded him anyway in the AD deal... but if he starts out like that as a rookie, we should assume improvement overall.
Hopefully there is some decline from Lou to offset the gain from Shamet
Also hopefully Zu doesn't get too much better... he's probably working out his doughy body like crazy to get revenge on us next season.
Emotions aside it will be an intriguing matchup.
A lot depends on DMC's continued improvement or possible stagnation...
I was super excited when we signed him, but that could easily fade if he can't stay on the court or doesn't get back to at least Brook Lopez level.
If we get a Brook or better level center... if LBJ remains as good as he was last season... I think we can win.
If Boogie doesn't improve or LBJ declines, I think it will be hard. |

The Clipper's defense is too good. They can throw Kawhi and PG13 at Lebron while the Lakers can't really stop Kawhi, their bench is deadly with Lou/Harrell and they'll probably be the best defensive team in the NBA.
The Lakers are a random assortment of talent that don't necessarily fit that well together. If both teams played today I'd have the Clippers in 6.
The Lakers keys to a title this season are:
1. Signing one of Iggy or Avery Bradley to add more perimeter defense to the team
2. Trading for an NBA starting caliber point guard at the trade deadline
3. Kuzma having a breakout season and regaining the promising shooting he displayed his rookie season
4. Boogie coming back to form (18/10 caliber player he became at the end of the regular season last year) _________________ If Brandon Knight were to come out, I would take him number 1 in the draft. - Magic Johnson Mar 27, 2011
For all of you out there questioning Jimmer Fredette of BYU, he is the real deal. - Magic Johnson Mar 20, 2011 |

They don't fit well together? How so? Everytime I have seen a team full of shooters with Lebron they fit perfectly. |

The Clipps had a fluke year. Doc is the most overrated coach in the history of the association. He has had a career of stacked teams and he has one title to show for it. |

Doc sucks. I agree.
However, last season was no fluke.
They established a great culture there similar to BK and that was the reason why both teams succeeded....
Clippers starting 5 at the end was

I wonder if Rob asked Danny Green point blank... Can you stop Kawhi?
Were you able to stop him in practice?
Danny says... well, no one can really stop him, but yeah I did pretty well.
Rob goes... sold... here's 15 million per.
That's the only justification I can see for paying him that much. |

on paper, they are similar in the starting lineup with more depth....but I need to see how our pieces come together on the court to really develop an strong idea. Right now, I would think Lou Will and Harrell are going to be a problem off the bench. |

Uh Ariza is a grandpa and got 13 million a year. Green (bleep) better then 45% from three last year. Green is way better then Ariza. He probably could of got more money if he didn't wait on Kawhi. He is basically JJ Reddick but a much better defender. Pretty sure he is making close to what grandpa Reddick is making. Do you guys even look at the stats? |

You know how they say the best ability is availability.
I'm going to add another saying is that the best ability for a good shooter is "shootability"
Doesn't matter how good you are at shooting if you don't take your shot.
Danny went 8 games in row during the playoffs without scoring more than 8 points.
Grandpa JJ scored almost double what he did playing on a superteam.
I like Danny Green... but the man needs to shoot whenever he's open...
No hesitation... just shoot. |
