1: Nuggets - not the best team in the West, but a great regular season team with a lot of solid role players
2: Clippers - the best team IMO, but Kawhi will be managed for 20-ish games and I don't think PG and the Clippers' depth is enough to get a one seed
3: Lakers - don't think we're the best team in the West but I do think we'll be very good in the playoffs. Too much talent not to get a top 4 seed
4: Jazz - very deep active rotation, suited to the modern NBA. If Mitchell can take the next step watch out
5: Warriors - they'll still be very good, the addition of DLo is important as it means Steph doesn't have to completely carry them through Klay's injury
6: Blazers - more or less the same side as last year, they'll be good but I think they'll find it hard to get in the top 4 again
7: Rockets - I think CP3 falls off a cliff this year, and the likes of Gordon and Tucker have the potential to do the same. Very reliant on Harden
8: Kings - get the feeling that Fox will explode next year, and Bagley should be a candidate for MIP, but having Walton and his rotations will hold them back
-----
9: Spurs - they've added some nice depth, and it's hard to bet against Pop, but there's just too many better sides I think
10: Mavericks - yes Luka and Porzingis will dominate, but I don't think they quite have enough depth to make a huge playoff push just yet
11: Pelicans - gut feel is that Zion takes a year to adjust to the NBA (he'll do very well, but he won't dominate), and their young talent isn't quite mature enough yet
12: Thunder - they'll trade Westbrook, and the likes of Gallo, Dragic, Adams and SGA will carry them to 30-35 wins
13: Timberwolves - Towns is awesome, but the rest of that roster isn't great. As long as they have Wiggins and Dieng's contracts, they'll be held back
14: Suns - they'll improve, but Booker as your number 1 option still isn't a recipe for success
15: Grizzlies - I like Ja and JJJ, but they'll be awful

The Rockets didn’t even miss the playoffs last year despite Capela/CP3/Gordon all missing time and not getting a bench till post buyouts (Rivers and Faired). Why would they fall out next year?

Error. Added them to my list.

1. - Denver ( They will be great in regular season because of the other new teams in place)
2. - Flippers ( Well its hard to say but great team)
3.- Lakers ( We will need some time to gel but I cannot see us finishing below)
4. - Blazers ( Nothing to say)
5. - Warriors ( Without Klay for most of the year I actually think they will be worst than 5 but just because of Curry I will put them at 5)
6.- Jazz ( Good team but missing real stars)
7. - Rockets ( I think their style is over)
8. - Pelicans ( I think young team with lots of upside. They will fight with Kings and Mavs for this spot.

1. Lakers - the lamestream east coast media is selling us short, but Pelinka has assembled a deep team and has addressed most, if not all of our weaknesses
2. Clippers - They'll feel like they have something to prove. They lack size right now, but their perimeter defense and firepower should be strong
3. Utah - They have a nice team, but to be true contenders they need Mitchell to become a true superstar
4. Houston - They still have Harden, Capela and Gordon, and even though CP3 is on the decline he can still contribute. They need to improve defensively big time though
5. Portland - They're not that deep but if Nurkic comes back and becomes a legit offensive option it would be big for them
6. Denver - Unless Jokic takes the next step and averages about 25 a game I'm not fully sold on them because they just don't have as much firepower as some other teams
7. Golden State - They'll have issues on the perimeter defensively, but we shouldn't put it past coach Kerr to get the most out of what's left of his team
8. Dallas - No one is talking about them. If KP comes back and is still the same player and if Doncic keeps improving, look out.

Healthy, I think we are a 60 win team. I'll pick the Lakers as the #3 seed.

This is about the best list I've seen. Just switch Warriors with Nuggets. The new thing is to showcase the Clippers as the best team in the West. They are not. I have them in the 6th or 7th spot. Injuries and a lack of chemistry will hurt the Clippers.

1. Denver
2. Clippers
3. Jazz
4. Lakers
5. Portland
6. Houston
7. San Antonio
8. Golden State

GS beats Denver (Thompson is back and in rhythm at this point)
Clippers beats San Antonio
Jazz beats Houston
Lakers beats Portland

"Load management" is factored into these seedings. LBJ & AD play approx. 70 games during the season.

Rd1 vs Warriors

Teams 1-5 will be too deep that it can be any of those teams between 1-5. I see us around 3-5 area. Nuggets and Clippers are young that reg season will be fairly easy wins. Jazz are a bit overrated and getting hyped too much. Unless Mitchell breaksout to an allstar I don’t see them being a top 3 seed and going far. The Rockets will clash during the season but will get wins due to Harden and the system but I see a 1st rd exit. Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if they miss the playoffs. 8 seed was hard but I really like the Pelicans with axion being ROY, Ingram will become a 20ppg scorer, the defense will be elite. I see the Spurs looking to trade Derozan and Aldridge and possiblly a rebuild due to how good the west is and with DD being a FA May try and get something. Westbrook will be traded imo to the Pistons or Heat. Kings and Suns are still very young and DBook will lead the league in scoring around 30-32ppg with harden neck and neck. DFox will be an allstar snub but on his way to elite PG. If Porzingis can come back to old self the Mavs could be that 8 seed but I don’t see any depth with them. Morant will shine but not there yet to win games, Grizzles prob be the worst team in basketball.
