Do we take him or do we wait?

I just don't see the need for him. Yeah it's always nice to have more shooters but he can't play big minutes and I'd rather save the spot for Iggy.

Iggy all day over Korver. IF we can get our hands on Iggy.

Korver's better than nothing though.

Would be nice to pick up both and also Livingston now that the Warriors cut him.

Meh if he is the best guy available you might as well sign him. It's not my money. If Iggy is available having a full roster is not going to stop the Lakers from getting Iggy. People get waived every season to create a spot for a bought out player.

Leaving the roster spot open only benefits the Lakers financially. Lakers haven't made the playoffs in years and aren't close to the luxury tax. I doubt they will be penny pinching this season.

How long will the wait for Iggy be? We can always find someone to cut later.

I like Korver, but we already hired other guys to fill the "shooter" role and really only need another wing defender at this point.

Already have way too many one dimensional shooters still need a defensive wing or playmaking guard like Burke or a physical big such as Manimal.

According to reports, Memphis doesn't intend to buy Iggy out. They're currently talking with a few teams about trading him.

My guess is he'll go to the Rockets in a sign and trade for Shumpert plus a pick.

The Lakers really need another center or power forward. Right now, by my count, they have four: AD, Kuzma, Cousins & McGee. Admittedly, James can play a few minutes at pf too. Aric Holman, an exhibition 10 guy, is also a center. Still, this seems very few especially if there is an injury.

Faried may be waiting to see if the Rockets get desperate and throw some of the mle at him

I think we need a wing but if we go forward, Trey Lyles is a good option I think.

Between him and Iggy, wait for Iggy. But if we're going to fill out the roster now, which I'm not against, and are only left with one-dimensional players, I say go for a defensive wing specialist.

I didn't watch him at all last season, how is he? Because that last playoff run with the Cavs he was looking done.

He’s a regular season role player.

He's as young as Lebron. Definitely has some mileage left in him. I don't think he will be cut though because there's still a market for him out there.

LeBron is 34, Korver is 38.
