Hold it open for now.

If Iguoudala or CP3 becomes available, then you absolutely do that.

Exactly.

And if they or Korver don’t, see who else is there at the deadline and take your best pick of a wing. Or a big man in the case of injury issues,.

THT better be part of the team, whether it's g-league or whatever. They can't make us quit cold turkey on young prospects just like that. From Billy Thompson, to David Rivers, to Vlade, to Jewish Jordan, to Kobe, to Javaris to D'lo, to Zubac, etc. I always need a young kid on the roster to have high hopes for. Some pan out, and some don't, but I just need to pin high hopes on someone damn it.

at least we have caruso.

THT isn't signing on a two-way - it would require him to give up too much money and given his high ceiling, my guess is the Lakers want him around the team as much as possible.

Lakers should look at Bender or Chriss for a 2-way.

He's getting a HC.

What's an “HC” ?

I would grab up Faried if he's available. We can use another banger down low. Right now, any game that McGee or Boogie sit out, AD is going to have to play major minutes at the 5, which he clearly doesn’t like.

This would also allow Kuz to play more minutes at the three, helping shore up that roster spot.

If Iggy becomes available later on, we may have to cut a player to free up a roster spot.

I'm willing to bet that is what we are doing. It's going to be 1 of those 2 or nobody.

This. Priority right now should be a backup big. Need to keep ADs minutes at the C spot to a minimum to keep him happy and from getting injured. So maybe Faried, but I believe Gasol still has some serviceable minutes left in the tank. Would love to see him suit up one more year in the P & G.

(1) Kenneth Faried - Could use extra depth at 4/5 slots to grab boards and take the banging if AD plays at 5. Kuz not really that type, but Faried can do that with his hustle and energy.

(2) Luc Mbah a Moute - If, if, IF! he's healthy, then he'd be perfect, as he has the length and strength to cover all front court positions. Knee troubles mean he's not as quick on perimeter as he used to be, but he's a respected defender.

(3) Vince Carter - Because at age 42 he can still give 15-20 mins, 7 pts, and 38% 3pt shooting in a game.

(4) Anthony - since I know people with the same name, I'd almost want him to sign him for the inevitable "Lakers Sign ____" headlines so we can put them on T-shirts.

(4) Iguodala - iIf he ever comes available on buyout market and he can wait past December 15, then I'd waive Daniels or Cook (whoever's not performing) to get him.

Have we determined what's happening with our 2 way contracts? If I'm not mistaken, Norvell has one already and the other one is up for grabs between our camp invites (Cacok, etc.) - or did we sign someone? Also, is Williams on another team or will he be a SB Laker again?

Is Jonathon Simmons still available? Haven't heard if any team picked him up after he was traded to and released by the Wizards. He's more of a swingman but can guard multiple positions.

I've been saying the same thing. Not sure if Mbah a Moute is healthy. But, we need someone to defend those larger wing players unless we're expecting Bron+Kuz+Green to handle everything. Also, I think a lot of people are seriously overhyping what Iggy brings at this stage of his career. But, we obviously would take him if possible.

I'd love to have Mbah Moute too. But he's been injured a lot recently.
