Didn’t see a thread for this; lock/merge if needed.
I’d go with Davis. Offensively equivalent to LeBon if not better and defensively elite. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
AD easily. I’ve thought he was always destined to be the best player in basketball since he came into the league. I think he’s been underrated for a very long time in New Orleans, but that’s all about to change starting this season.
Lebron is great for sure and he’s going to be making this offense go, but AD is the key to us being a champion. He’s gonna anchor that defense for sure.
He’s a walking game changer. Impact player in every way. _________________ “like I never left”

If Davis is not the clear leader and focal point of this team they are screwed.
Not just for this season but for seasons to come too.
Davis is no kind of leader though, he is one who is led. Greater skills at this point but he will be following Lebron. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
LeBron will have the bigger offensive impact, Davis will have the bigger defensive impact. Davis should dominate the regular season and in the playoffs release LeBron.
Davis is the better player now, despite his lack of history of playoff success. He's nearer his physical prime and carrying far fewer career minutes on his feet, knees and legs.
LeBron can still be special at times, but he's reached an age and an accumulated wear-n-tear mileage where no one in this league has been consistently good again, vividly especially among players who rely on mobility and speed so much for success. Fingers crossed that he beats the health odds.
