Dwight Howard Addresses Rumors of His Sexuality: 'I'm Not Gay'

Quote:
The "situation" Howard is referencing were allegations made against him by Masin Elije. Elije is a gay man and according to a story he revealed on twitter, he and Howard were engaged in a romantic relationship. Elije claims that they stopped dating because Howard was cheating with other gay men. Once the relationship ended, Elije alleges that Howard and the NBA player's pastor Calvin Simmons tried to force him into taking "hush money" and signing an NDA. This behavior prompted Elije to file a lawsuit against Howard in March. Yet, like his conversation with Leahy, Howard has insisted on several occasions that he has never met Elije. But, that didn't stop the media and fans from running with Elije's story. The response to Howard following Elije's claims would make most people shy away from the public eye. Yet, Howard explains to Leahy that he's found a sense of solace from the situation.

If he was openly gay he would probably have a better chance of making the team. Jeanie would love to have a rep on Pride night.

DH sucking up to the Clips.
Quote:
The Grizzlies reportedly are trying to trade Howard, and if they can’t strike a deal, will waive him before the start of the season.
Howard isn’t sure where he’ll wind up, but said he wouldn’t mind giving Los Angeles, whether that’s with the Lakers or Clippers, another shot.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I do love L.A.,” Howard said. “Staples Center is going to be rocking this season. When I played there it was rocking every night.
The atmosphere is crazy, not just for the Lakers but the Clippers too. I just think all the hard work they’ve put in is paying off now.
They’ve always been viewed as the Lakers’ little brother, but they decided to stand out and be different and you have to thank guys like Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul for laying the foundation for this team,
and then what Doc [Rivers] has done has been great. This is just all that hard work paying off.” 1 day ago – via Los Angeles Times

Sounds like DH is lobbying for a spot w/ the Clippers. He's practically begging.

He'd definitely fill a weakness they have at center, and the trio defensively of Kawhi, George and Howard would be a task for any team to deal with. Let's see if the Clippers think that too

I think Clips are too smart to sign a guy like Howard to mess up that locker room.

Just came across a clip where he was thanking Kobe for calling him soft. Seems like he is trying really hard to project the fact that he has a changed mentality.

Yeah, maybe i'm wrong but it def. felt much more him trying overly hard to project his change then being genuine at all.. All that interview did was show me how cringe he still is and fake as they come.. Straight snake right there, keep him far away from the Lakers.

That it’s believable to think that the franchise is even considering this just shows how far we’ve fallen.

The Buss offspring should keep late season 2013 in their minds, when Kobe tore his Achilles desperately trying to drag the team into the playoffs while Coward had his head up his ass.

Dwight as the new #1 guy then got outplayed and mocked by a 37 year old Tim Duncan en route to a first round sweep...

I say why not. Give the minimum and if he’s the slightest problem, cut him. Who knows, he might help, what’s the risk? Very little.

I say why not!?!?!? If he fails, he will forever be hated. But I truly believe he has some motivation to try to reverse what was done in the past. If he can contribute some, he will receive praise.
