There was a report some time ago of Andrew Bynum making a NBA comeback. He hasn't played in 4 years but that could be a positive injury-wise going forward. What do you think about the Lakers considering him for this open spot at center?
I would definitely work him out and see if there's any legitimate capabilities left there. But his injury history unfortunately will likely hold him back from ever being able to compete for extended periods of games/seasons.

What's weird to me is how inconsequential Bynum was in all three of our finals appearances with him on the roster. He was supposed to be the #3 guy after Kobe and Pau but was really more like the #6 guy or lower after Odom, Ariza/Artest, and Fisher. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

He didn't seem like a good fit next to Pau imo. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

He has length. If he's as in shape as he was during last year's workout, I'd take him as a backup in a heartbeat because they won't do any better, unless Oden has something left.
