This guy is a all around defensive player, with a good offensive touch, he will give you a solid 10/10 a game, wont take plays off, and is a team player! Not to mention he is younger than Noah, Spieghts, Gortat, ect.

I don't mind him as a roster signing. But he is not really a Boogie replacement. He's really 6'6 and a PF-sized energy guy who is actually pretty atrocious defensively speaking.

Too small. He is fine for the regular season, but no help in a series against a real center.

+1.

Manimal is a great piece, but we need a big bodied banger to keep from wearing down AD.

Faried would be nice to throw at Montrez. Let them waste hustle energy on each other.

He's known for 1 thing...hustling for offensive rebounds. Not defense. Not offense. Too small and slight. Big centers will dominate him.

He would be my first choice based on age health and production. I easily see the value of him as a small-ball center with a rotation of JM/KF/AD.

He is actually listed at 6'8 (w/shoes but everyone's measurements are with shoes). At the very least he is another player we can throw at KL

His stats with the Rockets
24.4 mins
12.9 pts
58.7%
8.2 rebs
(in fact, our team is very similar to that Rockets team from last year, just a little bit bigger at the Foward spots)

Faried is a great energy guy on offense but his defense is pretty putrid against big men. Just gets swallowed up.

False statement. He's openly regarded as a poor defender.

Did a number on us last year in the regular season. Made me think, "wow, Houston got deeper." But Rockets saw no use for him in the post season.

Yeah. He is active but is a poor defender.

He would mostly be defending backup centers and he give us more felxibility to match smaller teams like the Clippers. Between closing games with AD at center and JM starting, KF would be a nice change of pace for our team and he gives us a more mordern day lineup when we need it.

Also I've never consider him a poor defender not amazing but watching him play he wasn't poor.

He can't defend backup centers though. And a modern day lineup includes a small ball center who defends well and can spread the floor. Faried is neither.

That being said, if we could open up 2 roster spots, I wouldn't be opposed to something like Noah/Faried. Two hard working players who know their roles.

If we sign Noah I'm cool with it, he does have a more accomplished career, so I understand why you are rooting for him.

Infact I think coming around to the idea of noah over d12 just because of all the past drama with our franchise. But I really like KF's game.

I still think the Lakers are going to leave a spot open incase AI or another buyout candidate becomes available.

If Faried did what he did on offense as a 6'9 or 6'10 guy, he'd still be on a team.

He is just a small guy unfortunately and gets swallowed up by true centers. He is generously listed at 6'7. And boasts none of the hallmarks of a modern day small ball center (shooting, ability to defend bigs, etc.).

Need a true big against embiid, jokic. Noah seems like best backup choice available

Only thing he does better than McGee is offensive rebound. He may be my last choice given the options.

He's way to small to fill those shoes...
