Here's Mine in points, rebounds, assists order:

1. AD - 27, 12, 4
2. Lebron - 24, 7, 11
3. Kuzma - 17, 5, 3
4. Dwight - 12, 10, 2
5. Bradley - 11, 3, 3
6. Green - 9, 4, 2
7. KCP - 8, 4, 2
8. McGee - 7, 5, 0.5
9. Caruso - 5, 3, 4
10. Cook - 5, 1, 2

Note that injuries will allow guys to play extended minutes to be able to put up these numbers. To that point, I am not expecting for instance a cumulative team average of over 125 points, which is what the total here suggests.

On a separate note, depending on the amount of entries and my level of motivation, I might put together an analysis to determine the 'Lakersground' predicted average for these players.. we can compare it to their actual averages at the end of the season to see how good we are as a forum at predicting this sorta stuff. Could be interesting.

Last note: rather than criticize my predictions or anyone else's, simply place your own prediction!

Not much to criticize here. Looks quite plausible

Do you see Davis being the first option instead of LeBron? Who's the go to guy in crunch time?

Also, did you get the idea for this thread from my Dwight Howard thread?

Depends on what you mean by first option. In the regular season, I see Davis leading the team in scoring while Lebron paces himself. In the post-season, I see it being pretty close with neither player really caring who leads the team in scoring.

Go to guy in crunch time is more likely to be Lebron (pnr with AD and the attack evolves from either guy).. with a bit of Kuz.

9 PPG seems a little low for Green. I feel like he'll be open a lot, and he's a sniper.

Dwight could be the X factor. He'll be catching a lot of lobs from LBJ.

Ingram closed a few games for us last season and Kyrie did it when LeBron was in Cleveland. I know LeBron does it at times, but we all know how he runs from the FT line in the clutch. It'll be interesting to see who really does it this upcoming season. (I still assume LeBron though, for better or for worse)

Looks pretty spot on. Maybe Caruso and/or Daniels take playing time from Cook and/or KCP and their numbers go up while Cook/KCP go down. But for the most part it looks good to me.

18 boards in 21 minutes for Howard? That's like a Moses Malone peak performance every night... You probably meant 8 boards.

My guess is that Kuzma and Green will each do about 15 PPG, Kuzma more off the bench, and Green starting and I think a lot of nights, Green may score the first few baskets, if they are packing the paint against Davis and Lebron.

Lebron I think is going to be VERY happy to feed the dog Davis every chance he gets. Lebron wants him happy, and wants him signing on the dotted line for that contract extension.

1. AD 27 9 3 2.4 blocks
2. LBJ 25 8 7
3. Kuz 16 3 2
4. Green 15 4 3
5. Howard 7 8 1 2.3 blocks
6. McGee 8 7 2 2.1 blocks
7. Bradley 11 2 5 1.5 steals
8. Caruso 9 4 4 1.5 steals
9. KCP 8 3 2 1.4 steals
10. Dudley 4 5 2
11. Cook 5 1 2
12. Rondo 5 4 6
13. Daniels 3 1 1
14. THT 3 4 1

I'll play, this is kinda fun. My prediction: Vogel turns out to know what he's doing. McGee and Howard focus on interior defense, AD makes up for LBJ's lapses. Interior defense is stout, perimeter defense so-so at best, Bradley, Caruso and KCP get playing time because of defensive effort and grit. Showing on the P&R is a challenge but we manage. Not a single double digit rebounder on the team, but the Lakers lead the league in team rebounding. Offense is stout in the half court, overpowering down low, frustratingly streaky but above average from outside and in transition. LBJ and AD's skill level are too much for most teams, and the Howard/McGee tag team makes the interior a painful location for opponents. Lakers slow it down a few notches, grind it out from mid-season throughout the playoffs, and win a title looking nothing like what a title team should look like in this small ball era. Very poor imitation of Showtime, but somewhere beyond the veil, Chuck Daly smiles and nods in begrudging respect.
