I thought Nadal was going to have a easy go of it. Went to the football games. Came back late to see it's a 5 set match. Medvedev is a better player than I thought.

Whew! So glad I decided to watch the Finals live even though I was recording it. Medvedev was incredible.

One of best and most interesting matches. Medvedev's fight made this a classic. Medvedev is mentally so tough and makes such smart decisions. Had no idea this thin guy had anywhere near this stamina. I expect greatness of some level from this guy's brain. And it's going to be great for the young guys coming because he's setting the standard. If they don't measure up, he'll kill em. But some of them are years younger so there is time.

Rafa just genius, such an incredible fighter. He's going to pass Roger I think, maybe next year. Question is his health as usual, as it us for Djokovic. Rafa seems in prime good shape right now at the last Slam when he's usually worn out, doesn't he? Bodes well for next season. F

Unbelievable match! Was keeping up with the score from the sports bar while all the football games were on, but I got them to switch it to the tennis on one of the TV's near where we were sitting for the latter part of the 4th set and beyond. Incredible drama. Bravo to Nadal for #19, and for Medvedev for an incredible fight.
