He's going to be a solid role player for us and will be a great locker room guy.
Dudley is widely credited for helping Giannis improve his game when he was there on the Bucks. He also has a great rep around the league too.
This! He can D up in spot minutes (playing the agitator) and can hit the outside shot. Complaints about some of these type of guys who make peanuts are unwarranted. He will be a solid role player and will outplay his contract.

Dudley is a solid NBA player & I fully expect JD to outplay his contract too.
The Lakers will need & expect J-Dudley to contribute more than mentorship.
Dudley can and will do all the little things on both sides of the ball. IMO JD will compliment LBJ, AD and Kuz nicely.

He will do whatever it takes to succeed. His grit, hustle and strength allowed the Nets to play him at center in short spurts.

Jared Dudley is intent on making Kyle Kuzma a well-rounded player, according to Mark Trudell of the team’s website. “My guy would be Kyle Kuzma. What can I do off the court to help him get to his full potential? He’s really the key for us,” Dudley said.
very underrated playmaker... He will be a key glue guy in units when Lebron is not in the game and will be even better if given the opportunity to play alongside AD and Lebron. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi

Kinda funny how things work - I always hated Dudley as an opponent, couldn't even stand looking at him. Now that he's a Laker and I listen to his interviews and the things he considers important, I really like this dude.

I always thought he was a douche. Talking about how nobody wanted to play with Kobe and stuff like that. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I don’t think him saying that was untrue though. Kobe didn’t really want to play with anyone. He wasn’t the type to go and recruit players to join him. He just wanted to smash on everyone by himself. Actually one of the many things I liked about him.
IMO when Kuz gets back we wont see Dudley at all. Just a good bench guy and vet leader. But on the court he looks slow...horrible passes and slow reaction. Again nice to have as a vet...but honestly no court time once this team is 100%.
